Today we’ll revise the TOPIC “Shops & Shopping” and Past Simple Tense (irregular verbs).

I. Let’s play game “Bingo”

Look at the slide, you can see 4 pairs of pictures. Look at them. What can you see?

I’ll give you 1 minute to remember them and their places. Then open two identical pictures and say “BINGO” and name them.

II. Act out the situations.

Second Task.

I’ll give you two situations and two shopping lists.

Your situations: Your granny is ill. Your mother asked you to buy some things for granny.

Your situations: Your mother has a birthday party. Your father asked you to buy some things for the party.

On your desk there are a lot of pictures of different shops and different things. Your task find necessary shop and thing and say – Where did you go? and What did you buy? in Past Simple Tense, using irregular verbs.

For example: I went to the bakery and bought a cake.
