An art film is one which is typically serious. Generally it is an independent film which is aimed at a niche market rather than a mass market audience. They have qualities which are different from mainstream Hollywood films. Bollywood are Hindi films and the name comes from Bombay (former name for Mumbai) and Hollywood. Nollywood (from Nigeria and Hollywood) is the colloquial term for Nigerian cinema. It is the second largest film industry in the world in terms of number of annual film productions.
