to fit - быть впору, годиться

This hat fits the girl.

(Эта шляпа впору этой девочке.)

These glasses don’t fit the child

(Эти очки не годятся ребенку.)

Fill in the verbs: 1 ) This T-shirt … him. (Эта футболка его размера ) This T-shirt fits him. 2) These boots… him. ( Эти ботинки ему не по размеру) These boots don’t fit him. 3) These trainers …him. ( Эти кроссовки ему впору) These trainers fit him.

to match – соответствовать, подходить под пару.

1) This hat doesn’t match the shirt.

( Эта шляпа не сочетается с этой рубашкой.)

2) This skirt matches the blouse.

( Эта юбка подходит к этой блузке).

3) These boots don’t match the suit.

( Эти ботинки не сочетаются с костюмом).

Fill in the verbs:

1) These black shoes …this dress. ( Эти черные туфли подходят к платью)

These black shoes match this dress.

2)This sweater …this dress.

( Этот свитер не сочетается с платьем ).

This sweater doesn’t match the dress.

3 )These trainers …the dress.

( Эти кроссовки не сочетаются с платьем).

These trainers don’t match the dress.

to suit – подходить, идти (об одежде),быть к лицу

1) The dress suits the little girl.

(Платье к лицу маленькой девочке ).

2) The grey hat doesn’t suit the girl.

( Серая шляпа не идет девочке ).

3) These hats don’t suit the young girls.

(Эти шапки не идут молодым девушкам).

Translate into English:

Эти сапоги не подходят к этой курточке.

Эти брюки подходят к этим сапогам .

Translation :

These shoes don’t match the jacket.

These trousers match the shoes.

Translate into English :

Этот жакет не идет девочке .

Желтая юбка не сочетается с серым жакетом.

Этот шарф не сочетается с джинсами.

Translation :

This jacket doesn’t suit the girl.

The yellow skirt doesn’t match the grey jacket.

This scarf doesn’t match the jeans.

Эта кепка к лицу девушке.

Синие джинсы впору девушке.

Фиолетовый шарф походит к жакету .

Translation :

This cap suits the girl.

The blue jeans fit the girl.

The violet scarf matches the jacket.

Now lets make up sentences to the picture :
