SOCIAL-CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION OF RUSSIAN YOUTH
FROM THE DOUBLE LINGUISTIC PERSONALITY VIEW-POINT

The Problem Actuality. At present Russia is at the important stage of its economic, political and social development. The transition period crisis is overcome, and the country starts working in the regime of positive living and gains stabilization. Russian youth should become and is becoming the basic participant of this process. It is the most active part of the civil society: young people adapt to the introduction of innovation projects and technologies in various spheres better, they are the concentration of essentially new knowledge and ideas. They are mobile and are full of force for life construction. Russian youth is the main customer of the worthy future, the main strategic resource of our country.
Young people are the social and age strata of initiative individuals. Young people are the basis of prospective social development, which accounts for their enthusiasm in innovative reality understanding. In this reference the particular weight is gained by means of the cultural transformation of the youth generation in the social system.
The Ways of Problem Resolution. Youth is the period of conscious life, when the young people select their true path of social-cultural development. In the course of the research such aspects of the social-cultural scale as the youth attitude to modern mass media, to serials for the youth, to the negative effect of mass media upon life and health of people, to the contrary influence of the alcohol abuse, to the subculture diversity and to the personal correlation to one of them are revealed. The accent is set upon the actual position of 154 young people, aged from 17 to 19 years, being the students of the geological surveying department of the SPEI “ZMC named after M.I. Agoshkov” on the choice made at random, hence 67 % of it being represented by the youth.
The Application of the Research Methods. This research stands for the usage of social, cultural, linguistic-cultural approaches to the youth study. The methods of the questionnaire, regional project, analysis of contemporary Internet-resources, both in Russian and in English, dedicated to the Russian youth problems, are used.
The Gained Results: Youth is the time of life between childhood and adulthood (maturity). Definitions of youth vary. Individual actual maturity may not correspond to the chronological age, as immature individuals can exist in age groups. Around the world, the terms: “youth”, “adolescent”, “teenager”, and “young person” are interchanged, often meaning the same thing, occasionally differentiated. Youth generally refers to a time of life that is neither childhood nor adulthood, but rather somewhere in-between. Youth also identifies a particular mindset of attitude, as in “He is very youthful”. The term “youth” is also related to being young.
The questionnaire statistical data included the questions: What is your attitude to mass media? (50% were positive about mass media, 6% were negative about it, 34% were neutral, 10% were careless) How do you accept serials for youth? (26% were positive about serial films and sitcoms, 2% were negative about it, 20% were neutral, 52% paid much attention to their contents) Do you suppose mass media to spoil Russian youth? (18% considered mass media to degrade Russian youth, 28% disagreed with that, 22% weren’t confident, 32% were doubtful) Do you find alcoholic beverages to spoil Russian youth? (64% supposed such beverages to spoil Russian youth, 8% disagreed with that, 18% didn’t know that, 10% were doubtful) What subculture do you refer yourself to? (4% referred themselves to some subculture, 84% were neutral in their culture reference, 8% were informal people, 4% were marginal people) What is your attitude to subcultures? (10% possessed tolerant attitude to subcultures, 6% were negative about that, 76% were neutral about that, 8% didn’t determine their position) What measures are to be undertaken to improve the life of Russian youth? (52% paid much attention to sport development, 56% tried to improve anti-alcoholic policy, 46% were eager to accelerate the cultural level, 18% wanted to make youth recreation establishments available, 50% were eager to contribute to the realization of the state finance of youth societies, organizations, groups, 22% were sure in isolation of socially dangerous youth representatives).
The Conclusion. The National Youth Project is proved to improve the moral status among young people, which will lead to its positive cultural transformation.
СОЦИОКУЛЬТУРНАЯ ТРАНСФОРМАЦИЯ
РОССИЙСКОЙ МОЛОДЁЖИ
С ТОЧКИ ЗРЕНИЯ ЛИЧНОСТИ БИЛИНГВА
(ПОСРЕДСТВОМ АНГЛИЙСКОГО И РУССКОГО ЯЗЫКОВ)

Актуальность проблемы. Молодёжь – социальная и возрастная страта инициативных людей. Именно молодые люди являются оплотом перспективного развития в обществе, которое делает ставку на их энтузиазм в инновационном понимании действительности. В этой связи особый вес приобретает культурное изменение молодого поколения в общественной системе.
Пути решения проблемы. Молодость – период осознанной жизни, когда молодежь выбирает свой истинный путь социокультурного развития. В ходе исследования рассмотрены такие аспекты социокультурного плана как отношение молодёжи к современным СМИ, к молодёжным сериалам, к негативному воздействию СМИ на жизнь и здоровье людей, к отрицательному воздействию злоупотребления алкоголем, к многообразию субкультур и личностной соотнесённости к одной из них. Акцент поставлен на актуальную позицию 154 молодых людей в возрастной категории: 17-19 лет, обучающихся на геолого-маркшейдерском отделении ГПОУ «ЗабГК им. М.И. Агошкова» по принципу случайной выборки, причём 67 % из неё составляют юноши.
Применение научно-исследовательских методов. В данном исследовании использованы социологический, культурологический, лингвокультурологический подходы к изучению молодёжи. Применены методы анкетирования, регионального проектирования, анализа актуальных Интернет-источников как на русском, так и на английском языке, посвящённых проблемам российской молодёжи.
Выводы (полученные результаты). Молодые люди демонстрируют следующее отношение к современному обществу: они положительно настроены на познание СМИ, тщательно изучают содержание молодёжных сериалов, убеждены в том, что СМИ могут оказать на них отрицательное воздействие, категорически против злоупотребления алкоголем, не соотносятся ни к одной из субкультур, признают важность ЗОЖ, стремятся повысить свой культурный уровень. В качестве эмпирической составляющей данного исследования предложен авторский национальный проект регионального масштаба.
