Welcome to India
This legendary land has preserved ancient cities and temples, which are considered to be a true Treasury of the world heritage of history and architecture. In India there are 30 sites under UNESCO protection. Therefore, every year it attracts millions of tourists who want to get acquainted with its history and culture.
The Konark Sun temple
The Konark Sun temple the Europeans used to be called the Black pagoda. It is considered the highest achievement of the architecture and a masterpiece of world importance. The temple was built in the XIII century . Firstly, it stood on the shore of the sea, but for seven centuries it had retreated almost three km away.
One of the gems of Buddhist temple construction are Ajanta caves. It is an ancient monastery, which consists of 29 churches and numerous monastic cells carved into the rock. Work on the creation of this ensemble was started in the II century BC and continued until the VII century AD .
A lot of tourists visit Madurai – a city-temple located in South India and dedicated to the goddess Meenakshi. This architectural ensemble, which covers an area of more than 6 hectares, is surrounded by high walls and 12 majestic towers, decorated with painted miniature sculptures.
There are many modern temples built to god Krishna For example, the temple of Lakshmi-Narayana in new Delhi was built from blocks of white pink marble in the Nagar style.
Lotus temple in new Delhi was built in 1986, and has a shape of a Lotus flower. It is one of the most visited places in India. Its 27 petals, covered with marble, create a lasting impression on visitors, especially in the evening, when they are illuminated by special lighting.
. In 2005 was built a new landmark of India — the Akshardham temple pink marble, even more splendid than the Taj Mahal. This is a whole complex, which in addition to the temple includes a Park area, man-made canals with light and musical fountains, sculptural sculptures, souvenir shops and numerous cafeterias.
In addition to the temples among the popular attractions in India, there are many museums, which exhibits will tell about the history and life of this country

- The Museum of India, or the Indian Museum, is one of the oldest museums on the earth. It was opened near Kolkata in 1814 . The Museum has many historical, biological and mineralogical collections.

- It was built in the early 20th century in honor of Queen Victoria, This is a real Palace in the British style,. The memorial is built of marble and decorated with many images of Queen Victoria. Beautiful gardens surround the memorial.
- India gate-a famous landmark of new Delhi, they are an arch, the construction of which was completed in 1931. India Gate is dedicated to soldiers who died during the First world war. The arch is built of basalt gold color, it changes color in different lighting. In the dark, the arch is illuminated,
At the Foot of the gate of India is burning Eternal flame, and nearby is the tomb of the unknown soldier, which was created in 1971 . Near the arch is a Park, which come to rest locals and tourists

Bondla nature reserve is essentially a large zoo, it is very interesting place to visit where you can get acquainted with the flora and fauna of this part of India.
