Практическое занятие № 5


В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше. Грамматика: конструкции “there is/ there are”


Цель:
  • изучение и активизация новых слов по теме “My Home”;
  • совершенствование навыка монологической речи;
  • развитие фонематического слуха и языковой догадки;
  • изучение конструкций “there is/ there are”;
  • привлечение к самостоятельной, творческой работе;
  • способствование дальнейшему развитию личности.

Обеспечение:

1. Наглядные пособия: тематическая картинка “A living room”

2. Раздаточный материал: HO1 “There Is No Place Like Home”

3. Аудио- и видеоматериалы: аудиозапись “My Flat” (track 4)


Ход занятия


I. Начало занятия

1.1 Приветствие и организационный момент.

I’m glad to see you. Be ready for the lesson. Put all unnecessary things away. Stand up, please. Stand still and straight. Good afternoon, students. Sit down, please. I hope you all had good weekends and a good rest so now I want you to gear up for hard work. Now let’s check up your presence.

  • What date is it today?

  • Who’s absent? – Do you know why?

  • Is the group ready for the lesson?

1.2 Объявление темы и цели занятия.

I’d like to start our lesson with the proverbs “East or west home is best” and “There is no place like home”. Who can translate them into Russian? Find Russian proverb with the same meaning.

1.3 Введение в иноязычную атмосферу

I wonder, ‘Who lives in your home?’, ‘What relatives have you got?’ Let’s warm up and play a little. Revise and name as many words from the topic “My family and my relatives” as you can

Now open your copy books and write down the words and expression from Ex. 7 p. 27. But first let’s read them altogether paying attention to the pronunciation.

Ex. 14 p. 30 Complete the sentences with the appropriate words and phrases from the box.


2.4 Работа с текстом

Now read and translate the text. Ex.8 p.28. Do it by chain, sentence after sentence.

Ex. 9 p. 29 Are these statements true or false? Correct the false ones.

Ex.10 p. 29 Listen to the second part of the text and choose the main idea.
