• This is one of the most favourite holidays in America. Children walk and say « Trick or treat », get sweets, fruits, cakes and people have pumpkins with candles in their windows.

• People put on different costumes.

• In different countries people give different names to this holiday: celtic new year,day of the dead.

• When celts started to celebrate this holiday they told goodbye to the summer and welcome winter.

• Traditionally, Halloween is celebrated around the fire, singing and dancing, as well as horror stories and legends of ghosts, witches are told. In many countries, Halloween has become a sweets holiday which children ask their neighbours to give them. According to statistics, every year for Halloween sweets are sold for more than $ 2 billion.
