Содержание урока
I. Организационный момент.
Учитель приветствует учащихся. Good morning! How are you? I’m very glad to see you! I think you are fine today! So, let’s start our lesson.
II. Фонетическая зарядка.
В качестве фонетической разминки учитель предлагает учащимся прочитать на доске стихотворение, написанное британской школьницей.

The world needs a friend
To love and depend on
In times of trouble……
The world has hope yet
If the children let it
And if we do it right
Together we can make the world
A better place
Because the world’s best friend

III. Проверка домашнего задания.
Учащиеся рассказывают одноклассникам об одежде, которую предпочитают носить.
You have done the topics about clothes you prefer to wear. I want you to tell them to your classmates.
IV. Речевая зарядка.
Учитель обращает внимание учащихся на первые строчки стихотворения, и просит ответить на вопросы.
The world needs a friend

In times of trouble……
- How do you think? Why does the world need a friend?
(In my opinion the world needs a friend, because it has problems).
-Yes, you are right. It has problems, ecological problems. Therefore when we speak about our planet, we must speak about Ecological problems. The theme of our lesson is “Ecological problems and clothes” The aim of our lesson is to learn to discuss clothes and materials.
V. Активизация тематической лексики.
1) Work in groups. Try to remember as many words related to clothes as you can. Make a list of items in alphabetical order.
Учащиеся выполняют упражнение 1с.70. Учащиеся работают в группах и составляют
список предметов одежды, расположив их в алфавитном порядке.
2) What do people make clothes from? Please remember these words.
Silk

Cotton
Wool
Nylon
Each group has to describe what clothes the students are wearing, including fabrics. Present the
description to other groups. (Ребята составляют описание одежды и материала, из которого
она изготовлена одного или двух участников из группы и затем представляют описание
другим группам).
3) Now answer my questions:
- What do you know about eco clothes?
- Which type of fabric do you think is more environmentally friendly, natural or synthetic?
- What are modern clothes made of?
- How are eco clothes made?
- Are they more expensive to buy?
- Are they popular nowadays?
VI. Развитие навыков монологической речи. Самостоятельная работа.
1) Учитель просит учащихся самостоятельно прочитать текст на странице 71 и заменить слова в скобках на подходящие. После чего включает аудиозапись с целью самопроверки.
Now read through the text and try to complete the gaps. Then listen and check the words in brackets.
Key: 1) good – better 4) differ - different
2) three –third 5) quick - quickly
3) fortunate – unfortunately 6) fashion - fashionable
2) Затем учитель просит учеников выделить из текста три факта, которые их заинтересовали, и поделиться ими с одноклассниками (дается несколько минут на подготовку).
Read the text again. Tell your partner three things you found interesting in the text.
3) В завершение этапа учитель просит учащихся убедить своего друга покупать экологически безопасную одежду.
Work in pairs. Use the information in the text to persuade you friend to buy eco-friendly clothes.

Для закрепления грамматических навыков по теме «Страдательный залог» учитель предлагает учащимся выполнить задание на карточках.
Now it’s time for grammar. I want you to revise the Passive Voice. Look at the cards on your desks. Complete the information about the world famous jeans using the right forms of the verbs given before the text (to be, to design, to make, to wear, to produce):
Levi jeans … by the people all over the world, they … fashionable and strong and you can … them for a long time. The first Levi jeans… in San Francisco in the 19-th century, they … for workmen who needed cheap and strong trousers. The jeans … of a special kind of strong cotton Levi jeans… usually blue. But the company also… them in black, white and several other colours, there … many different designs. Nowadays Levi … multinational company and their jeans… in factories all over the world.

IX. Домашнее задание. Выскажите свое мнение по поводу высказывания «Мы – это окружающая среда».
Your home task is to take your opinion about the statement: “We are the environment.” (10-15 sentences).
