Тема урока: «Еда»

Цели урока: -практиковать учащихся в употреблении слов, относящихся к теме «Еда»; - практиковать учащихся в словообразовании; - совершенствовать коммуникативные навыки учащихся по теме «Еда».


Содержание урока:

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

Учитель: Good morning children. How are you today?

Учащиеся: Fine, thanks.


II. Речевая зарядка.

Учитель: Do people live without food?

Учащиеся: No, we can’t.

Учитель: Do you want to be healthy?

Учащиеся:Yes, we are.

Учитель: Does health depend on food?

Учащиеся:Yes, it does.


III. Целеполагание.

Учитель: Today we are going to speak about food. The topic of the lesson is “Food”. We are going to speak about different fruit and vegetables, cooking methods. You will learn how colour is related to food.


IV.Фонетическая зарядка.

Let’s prepare our tongues for speaking. Repeat after me. [b], [o], [t].

Betty Botta bought some butter,

“But, she said, this butter’s bitter,

But a bit of better butter will make my batter better”.

So, she bought a bit of butter better than the bitter butter,

And it made her batter better.

So, it was batter Betty Botta’s bought a bit of better butter.

It’s your turn to read it as quickly as you can.

V. Введение и отработка новых лексических единиц по теме.

Учитель: Don’t mix up some words “food”, “dish”, “ meal”. Who wants to read?

Учащиеся: Me. Food means something that people and animals eat, or plants absorb, to keep them alive.

Dish means food prepared in a particular way as part of meal.

Meal means an occasion when food is eaten, or the food which is eaten on such an occasion.

Учитель: Open your books at page 102, look at exercise 1. Please, read the task.

Учащиеся: Which of the following items are fruits vegetables? Find them in the picture above.

What colour is each? Which of these words are countable/uncountable? What are their plural forms?

Учитель: Let’s divided into 3 groups. The fist group will divide all words into 2 groups (fruit and vegetables). The second group will divide all words into groups according to their colours. The third group will divide all these words into countable and uncountable nouns and name their plural forms. You have some minutes to be ready.

(учащиеся делают задания по группам)

Учитель: Your time is up. The fist group, please, read words denoting fruit. and vegetables).

Учащиеся: The words denoting fruit are “grape, apple, orange, tomato, cherry, raisin, lemon, melon, strawberry, blueberry, pineapple, peach, pear, raspberry, plum, watermelon, banana, fig, lime”. The words denoting vegetables are “broccoli, carrot, corn, lettuce, celery, aubergine, pea, pumpkin, cabbage” (осуществляется групповой контроль)

Учитель: The second group, please, read the words according to their colours.

Учитель: What compound words can you find?

Учащиеся: They are strawberry, raspberry, watermelon, blueberry, pineapple.

Учитель: How do you eat the following foods in your country? How do you prefer them? (упр.2 с.102)


VI. Организация чтения текста с целью извлечения запрашиваемой информации.

Учитель: A List which colour foods you ate yesterday. How do you think colour is related to food? Read the text on p. 103 to find out. (упр.4 с.103)

(учащиеся читают текст)

Учитель: Read the text again. Which colour food should you eat if…

Учащиеся: (правильные ответы на слайде №19, осуществляется самопроверка)

1. you have a difficult exam to study for? Orange

2. you are feeling very nervous about meeting someone? Green

3. you are worried about getting lines and wrinkles? Purple

4. you’ve been feeling a bit sad lately? Yellow

5. you are taking part in a championship swimming match? red

Учитель: Do you know “Autumn” by Antonio Vivaldi?

(учащиеся смотрят начало видео с музыкой А. Вивальди? Потом учитель делает музыку потише, и она становится фоном)

Учитель: Close your eyes. Imagine that you are in the forest. It is autumn. The leaves have different colours. The forest is beautiful. The air is fresh. You are gathering leaves you like.You are happy, energetic. Just imagine these leaves are the food you can eat every day. You can eat food of different colours. Red food get you moving. Orange foods are for brain. Yellow foods make you more optimistic. Green foods keep your emotions under control. Eating food of different colours can control your lives. You’ll be happy and healthy. Open your eyes.

Учитель: Find words in the text related to the body. Compare with a partner. Add some more (упр.5 с.103)

Учащиеся: These words are “blind, mind, eyesight, a smile, tummy, teeth, bones, ear, brain, grinning.

Учитель: Find the verbs/phrases which mean: (упр. 6 с.103)

VII. Развитие навыков неподготовленной диалогической и монологической речи.

Учитель: Look at the food list you made in Ex. 4a. How healthy do you think it is? Discuss in pairs. (упр.7 с.102) (учащиеся работают в парах)

Учитель: Упр.8 Portfolio: Prepare a two-minute talk about improving eating habits using a rainbow diet. In your speech: say why we should have healthy eating habits mention ways a rainbow diet can help us recommend the diet. Some tables can help you.

(учащиеся составляют монологическое высказывания по ситуации)

Учитель: Tell me what you eat, and I’ll tell you what you are.

Учитель: Упр.9 Work out a healthy menu for Monday. Use various colours of food/drinks


VIII. Подведение итогов урока.
