Practice: Organ transplantation Liver transplantation in particular

Liver transplantation is a calling card of Belorussian medicine

Statistics:

• 2009 – the first liver transplantation in Belorus.
• Current year - more than 50 liver transplantations.
• Total number by 2020 - 600 transplantations.

1. Transplantation of organs taken from living donors( relatives).

2. Transplantation of organs taken from cadaveric donor.
