English party WELCOME TO ENGLISH WORLD

(Part 1)

1. The fairy of Love is coming, dancing nicely and says:

• Hello! I am a fairy of Love, I walk around and dance, tell nice stories to everybody.

Music-( )

1. The second fairy- the fairy of joy and happiness is coming and dancing joyfull.

• Hello I am a fairy of Joy and Happiness. My dear sister , please, teach me read in English I have already studied the alphabet and I know all the letters.

(She is singing English alphabet song and dancing).

1.The fairy of Love- Good for you my sister Joy.I have a present for you, here is a book with many fairy tales and stories I hope you will like all the stories: Tom Thumb, Cinderella, Snow White and Seven Dwarfs, The Frog Prince, Snow White and Rose Red.

2.- Thank you my dearest, I shall read it by all means… Bye-bye!

(They are leaving the hall dancing and jumping happily)

( Part 2)

Music- Tom Thumb A little boy is coming dressed in green and yellow.

Tom Thumb- Hello! I am Tom Thumb… as you see I am too small… But I am very brave…(he shows the sword and a shield in his hands)

• I have sword and a shield… I am a soldier…

( he turns and goes out walking as a soldier)

(Part 3)

Music- Flowers are coming hand in hand dancing.

Flower 1.- Hello! I am Snow White

Flower 2.- And I am Rose Red. We are sisters.

Flower 1.- I am very calm, I like to stay at home and help my Mum.

Flower 2.- And I don’t like to stay at home, I like to jump and walk around, to for a walk, to catch butterflies …

(They leave the hall dancing together)

(Part 4)

Music-

The frog is coming and jumping next to the fountain.Then he says sadly

- Hello! I am the Frog Prince… the cruel fairy changed me into a frog.

The princess is coming with a golden ball in her hand. She threw the ball in the air and cannot catch it. If falls on the ground, the prog gives the ball to her.

• Dear princess let me live with you.

• No…go away…go away… You are too ugly.

• But you are so kind ,help me please to become a prince again.

• Well, then you have to sing a song for me and dance…

(The frog agrees: he sings the song “My Bonny”, quickly changes his clothes ,dances vals with a rose in his hand and approaches to the princes)

• Dear princess ,you see I am a prince again, you helped me very much and I want to take you to my father’s Palace.

(They leave the hall dancing vals)

(Part 5)

Music-

Snow White comes with the English book and copy-books in her hand.

• Hello! Do you recognize me? Yes! I am Snow White, I have seven brothers I like them very- very much. I teach my brothers English…

(She rings the bell and calls the 7 dwarfs)

• Quickly, quikly my little brothers our lesson has started.

(7 Brothers come in and Snow White names them)

• Tommy, Billy, Jack, Jimmy, Ben, Ted, Johny?

• Where is Johny?

(Johny is not coming he is sleeping in the corner)

• Oh!, no Johny, don’t sleep.

(They are singing together “Are you sleeping, brother John”. Johny wakes up and sits around the table. Snow White gives them their copy- books and opening the book in her hand asks her pupils)

• Who can tell me what letter is this?

• Tommy says- It is Tt Tommy. I am Tommy.

• Good Tommy sit down, and what letter is this?

• Billy says- It is Oo , orange I like orange very much…

• Yes! I’ll give you orange after the lesson, sit down, who can tell me what colour is this?

• Jack says- It is blue, the sky is blue the oceans are blue…

• Good Jack you are right…and who can count?

• Jimmy says- Me…One, two , three, four- Jim is lieing on the floor….Five, six, seven, eight- Lazy John is my classmate(shows Johny and everybody laughs at him)

(Snow White gets angry with him and orders)

• Sit down Jimmy , Johny will work hard, Johny what can you do for us I know you are very tallanted.

• I can dance like Mickael Jackson.(He dances like Mickael Jackson)

• My dear pupils our lesson is over, now let,s go for a walk…

(They are leaving the hall dancing and singing ‘’Jingle Bells”)

(Part 6)

Music-

Cinderella is coming, sweeping the floor , she says sadly.

• I am Cinderella I have to do all the work at home, cleaning the house, washing the dishes…

(Her stepmother comes )

• What are you doing lazy girl my dress is dirty clean it quickly…

(The two sisters come)

• Quickly, wash my dress.(sister 1)

• And mine too.(sister 2)

(They throw their dresses )

Somebody knocks the door, comes in and says.

• I am prince, I look for a girl I love, she left her shoe… please try this shoe ….(the girls start to struggle for the shoe)

• Give it to me, it is my shoe….

• No, it is my shoe…

(The prince approaches to them takes the shoe and gives it to Cinderella who is washing the dresses in the corner of the room)

• Please ,try this shoe, I see your feet are small.

(Cinderella takes off her dirty clothes, puts on the shoe, then the other shoe, everybody looks at her with a great surprise)

• You… you are the girl whom I searched so long… You are the Princess of my dreams.

Music-

(They leave the hall dancing vals)

The ending of the English party

All the heroes of the fairy tales come singing “Jingle Bells” Then come the two fairies.

1. -My dear sister Love I liked all the stories.

2. – Really, you are very clever, I hope you will study hard .

3. – Yes of course I promise you learn more and more.

Santa Claus comes singing “Jingle Bells”.

• Hello! Dear pupils I am coming from the farest Lapland. I bring you nice presents. I know you have learnt English alphabet this year and you have already known all the letters. These are interesting and your favourite fairy tales- Cinderella, Snow White and Seven Dwarfs, Tom Thumb, The Frog Prince.

• WELCOME TO ENGLISH WORLD.

All the participants bow to audience and leave the hall singing ‘’Jingle Bells”
