1. It is a widespread idea that disciplined people are better employees than talented ones.

1. I think that this view is only partly true. To my mind, both discipline and talent should be in close connection. Firstly, different professions need different abilities, qualities and skills. The prosperity in such occupations as artists, actors, writers depends not only on the talent but also on the person’s innate organization. What can one gifted but lazy and disorganized person achieve in the life? Nothing! He or she is even able to ruin the life because of the foolishness. Secondly, discipline without a certain talent is only a simple doing the duty, as it does not mean creativity and daring. Thirdly, talent and discipline together can gain incredibly great results.

1. Nevertheless, some people are sure that talent does not play a particular role in doing any work well. On the one hand, they argue that a responsible person can easily manage any task and overcome any difficulties. On the other hand, they consider talented people to be more irresponsible, impatient, inefficient and even selfish than those without it.

1. I disagree with such an opinion because I am sure talent is a gift from the God, and it can not disturb people’s promotion and prosperity. It should be constantly developed and correctly used.

1. In conclusion, I would like to stress that the world knows a lot of examples of outstanding and at the same time hardworking and disciplined people. I feel a talent and a good self-organization are equally necessary for a man or a woman if they are eager to succeed in anything.
