Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is the most famous in the USA. It is the oldest and the largest in the country. It was founded in 1872. It is situated on the territory of three states – Wyoming, Idaho and Montana. It is located around the valley of the river Yellowstone. The exceptional beauty of this place has been always attracted millions of tourists. It has more than 3 thousands geysers and more than 10000 springs, most of them contain the useful mud, and there are wonderful mountains around the valley. The highest point of the park is Eagle Peak with the height of 3462 m. It also contains a lot of canyons, fossilized forests and other nature monuments.
As for the wildlife, it is rather rich. There we can find different bears, such as grizzly-bear and black bear. You can also see wapiti, moose and buffalos there. Recently more than 20% of the forests were destroyed by fires.
