Вопрос без вопросительного слова:

Was Nick playing football at 4 o’clock yesterday?

Yes, he was / No, he wasn’t

Вопрос с вопросительным словом:

Why was Nick playing football at 4 o’clock yesterday?

Вопрос с вопросительным словом Who?

Who was playing football at 4 o’clock yesterday? (всегда используем в этом типе вопроса was!)

Упражнение 1. Раскройте скобки, употребляя глаголы в форме Past Continuous.
