Past Perfect (անցյալ վաղակատար)

The past perfect is used to show an action completed before a certain moment in the past .

It is formed- had+ verb+ed ( 3 rd form)

To work

I had work ed ես աշխատել էի

You had work ed դու աշխատել էիր

He, she, it had work ed նա աշխատել էր

we had worked մենք աշխատել էինք

You had worked դուք աշխատել էիք

they had worked նրանք աշխատել էին

She had gone

It had gone

e. g. They had hardly entered the room when the telephone rang .

After she had beaten Alfred, the woman learn t that he was the king.

Negative
