Тип урока: интегрированный урок.

Тема: «Great Britain».

Цель: развитие навыков устной речи.

Задачи:

Образовательные:

• формировать умение рассказывать о стране по образцу.

• повторить и закрепить полученные географические знания по теме “Страны Европы. Великобритания”

• выучить новые лексические единицы;

• продолжить формирование у учеников навыков чтения, произношения, устной речи, перевода и письма.

Развивающие:

развивать навык письма.

• расширять социокультурные компетенции.

• развивать умение конспектировать, обобщать и анализировать изучаемые понятия;

Воспитательныe:

формировать интерес учащихся к познанию окружающего мира.

Формы работы: речевая зарядка, фронтальный опрос, парная работа, индивидуальная работа, групповая работа.

Ресурсы: учебник, книга для учителя, видеоматериал к уроку, рисунки по теме, индивидуальные карточки для работы, тексты для работы, словари.

Good morning, students! What is the weather today? How are you?

2. Постановка цели и задач урока. Введение в языковую ситуацию.

Today our lesson is unusual. We'll speak much about travelling. Where shall we go today? We'll know when we see the film (включается клип). How do you think, what is the theme of our lesson? Is it Great Britain? Yes you are right. The aim of our lesson is to speak about Great Britain.

Open your vocabularies and repeat your homework. Work in chains. One pupil says the word and another – translate it. Write marks to each other.

Уступая только фестивалю в Рио-де-Жанейро, карнавал в Ноттинг-Хилле является одним из крупнейших мероприятий такого рода в мире. Это пример того, как фестиваль отмечает этническое разнообразие и свободу с помощью музыки, движения и маскарада, заставляя часть Лондона оживать в ярком калейдоскопе цвета, звука и аромата.

Карнавал проходит на улицах Ноттинг Хилла (лондонских районов Кингстон и Челси) каждый август в течении 2 дней. Первый карнавал был проведён в 1964 году членами общины Вест-Индии, многие из которых жили в этом районе с 1950 года.

В наше время лондонские власти очень положительно относятся к карнавалу как к празднику мульти-культурного разнообразия в Лондоне с преобладанием карибской культуры в её лучших традициях. Тем не менее, на повестке дня всегда обсуждаются важные общественные аспекты обеспечения безопасности проведения такого массового мероприятия на узких улицах небольшого района Лондона.

Ежегодно карнавал посещают более 1 миллиона человек, что делает его вторым по величине уличным фестивалем в мире после карнавала в Рио-де-Жанейро.

Girls wandered happily around the stalls and admired the beautifully decorated floats. By the time the parade began, thousands of people had lined the streets to watch it.

Look at that costume – I shouted to Rachel, but there was no answer. She looked around but she was nowhere in sight. She had no idea what to do!

Minutes later, it started to pour with rain. Then a familiar umbrella caught my eye. She moved towards it. Dripping wet but relieved, we entered the first cafe we found.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is situated on the British Isles.

Their total area is over 315 000 square kilometers .

The United Kingdom is made up of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Their capitals are London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast respectively.

The British isles are separated from the European continent by the North Sea and the English Channel.

Mountains are not very high. Ben Nevis is the highest mountain.

There are a lot of rivers in GB, but they are not very long.

The Severn is the longest river, while the Thames is the deepest and the most important one.

The UK is one of the world’s smallest countries.

The main nationalities are: English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish .
