Types of Hobbies

Numerous hobbies are divided into four categories:

• doing something ; (The most popular of all hobby groups is doing things. It includes a wide variety of activities, everything from gardening to travelling and from chess to volleyball)
• making something ; ( Making things includes drawing, painting, making sculpture, designing costumes, handicrafts. )
• collecting something ; (Almost everyone collects something at some period in his life: stamps, coins, matchboxes, books, records, postcards, toys, watches. paintings, rare books and other art objects.)
• learning something (By reading about the things he is interested in. Learning things can be the most exciting aspect of a hobby.)

Instructions

• Prepare your exercise-book and a pen to do exercises
• Prepare your vocabulary to fix unknown words
• Listen to the speakers describing their favourite things and write the date. Then write the words in your copy-book to fill in the gaps.
• Organise your sheet like this:
