Hobby - postcrossing

Postcrossing is my hobby project by Sokal Volha

The main object of the project is to present my hobby, to encourage people to try it and to demonstrate my collection of postcards.

Let me to begin with the question: what do you usually find in your mail-box? Bills and ads? But not me! Because about a year I regulary find new nice postcards in my mailbox. I have discovered a new hobby for me – Postcrossing.

The Postcrossing project was started by Paulo Magalhães from Portugal in 2005. Ana Campos designed the website.

Postcrossing is a hobby where strangers send each other postcards across the world

The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world

Sometimes you can get the card from the place you have never heard about. Postcrossing helps me to collect the cards from all over the word, it allows me to travel from my armchair and to communicate with other people.

Postcrossing is interesting and exciting and I can be proud of because I’m one of 652112

registered users in 210 different countries! Maybe you will be the one of us,too?
