Конспект урока в 6 классе.

  1. Мотивация

- Good-afternoon, children! How are you? I’m fine, thank you, and you? I’m fine too. Thank you very much.

Who is on duty today?- I'm on duty today. Today is Monday, the 10th of November. All are present. (...is absent). Savva, what is the weather like today? Sofia, do you like this weather? Roma, what is your favourite season? Lera, what did you do yesterday? Arisha, how many lessons have you got today? Olya, what are they? You are well-done, my friends!

  1. Фонетическая зарядка

Now, look at the blackboard and let’s work with pronunciation. Repeat after me? (предлоги) Guess where is the ball.

  1. Brainstorming.

- Children, now you’ll watch a video. It is about what we are going to talk today. A home is a place where you feel comfortable and safe.

  • My flat.

  • A place where I want to come back.

  • Thanks a lot. But I have one more statement. For me a home where the heart is.

Do you like your house? Why? How many rooms are there in your house? What will help to make the room more comfortable? Of course, we need furniture at home.

Now, look at the blackboard and guess the meanings of the following words. I’ll read you’ll repeat after me. (презентация) What’s this? You have to learn them by heart.

There are different rooms in our flats. Listen to the explanations and name the rooms.

We cook in it.

We sleep in it.

This is the room where we watch TV.

We leave our hats and coats there.

We have meals in it.

So, come into my bedroom. As you can see there is no furniture in it. Listen to the description of the room and put everything on its place.

In the bedroom there are beautiful curtains on the window. In the middle of the room on the floor there is a big brown carpet. Near the window there is a small table . In the left corner of the room there is a chair. On the table there is a lamp and computer. A wardrobe is on the right. Opposite the door there is a bed. There is a picture on the wall above the bed. And there are some bookshelves on another wall.

Well, do you know what does a typical British house look like? What do you know? Fill in the table you have on your desks, then write down what do you want to know about British house. And now let’s read the text. Fill in the third column of the table, now I know.

There are a lot of proverbs about the house? What proverbs do you know? Read the proverbs and find the Russian equivalents .

East or West, home is best. There is no place like home. Men make houses, but women make homes. Home is where the heart is.

My home is my castle.

Our lesson is going to be over. Answer my questions what have we done on the lesson? What have we talked about? (We have read new words, we have filled in the table, we‘ve danced…)

  1. Cinquain

And, finally, let’s make up cinquain but the first we’ll review the plan of writing cinquain. Who remembers?

St1:The first line is one word which is the title of the poem. The second line contains two adjectives. The third line has three verbs. The fourth line has a phrase. The fifth line is one word that is a synonym of the title.

St2: Of course, we’ll write about house.
