House under a blue roof

The earth is huge and so diverse. With a mass of all kinds of living creatures living on its round sides, it is a real home for us - people.
This house has many hitherto unknown and mysterious nooks, with very strange and cute, and sometimes very frightening inhabitants. After all, the dark waters of the oceans have not yet been fully explored, as well as the dense thickets of the Amazonian jungle. Perhaps, even on the steep and inaccessible slopes of the majestic Himalayas, there are still unknown "neighbors".
Our home is a very sophisticated system, and in modern terms it can be called a “smart home”. How else to explain what the Earth creates for the benefit of its inhabitants? For example: the air purification system - Siberian taiga, the same Amazonian jungle, Canadian forests and other green forest islands, giving us the unique aroma of the purest forest air. Have you been in the forest after the rain? When the air seems thick and so dense that you even feel dizzy from habit ... And what does the forest smell like in winter? The air looks crystal! Is about to ring from our loud voices. And the sounds are carried so far in this crystal castle that sometimes you begin to look around and look - you would not wake up the owner of the taiga - a clubfoot bear.
And here's another smart system in our home: water. The source of life on our blue planet and the main component of any living organism, including humans. We cannot exist without this life-giving magic drink. Countless streams and springs, rivers and streams, lakes and ponds give us, all residents of this wonderful house, life-giving moisture. How wonderful is the system of the water cycle in nature! After all, water, evaporating from the surface of the earth, does not disappear, but comes back in the form of various precipitation - snow, rain, and sometimes hail. Where it is cold, the snow becomes a kind of blanket for the roots of plants, for animals that sleep soundly in their burrows in winter. And in spring, melting under the bright rays of the sun, and turning into cheerful streams, thereby provides the necessary moisture for the plant roots to wake up from the heat.
And the winter whiteness of the landscape is replaced at first by brown thawed patches, with puddles glistening in the sun. And then all this is covered again with a green blanket of juicy young grass!
Our house is beautiful! But unfortunately we sometimes behave like careless owners ... And we do not at all take care of what is presented to us.
In recent years, fire has been engulfing the Siberian taiga more and more, especially in spring and summer. And the main cause of fires in the forest is precisely man. A fire that has not been completely extinguished, a cigarette butt, glass - all these are sources of fires, leaving behind huge areas of charred remains from the "lungs of the planet".
In addition, people have learned to make various things from wood. And this was another reason for the destruction of forests.
Yes, the forest can recover, but it needs help. And we can help you, those who live in this house and use its benefits. When I grow up, I will definitely take part in tree planting campaigns in woodlands. Because I want all future generations to know the noise of birch leaves, the scent of pines, the taste of pine nuts and wild berries. So that they too can breathe clean air and drink crystal clear water from a forest stream.
However, for this you need to try to conserve water sources on Earth. A person produces a lot of garbage - after all, now almost everything is packed in plastic containers. And each of these packaging, getting into the environment, remains in it for hundreds of years! It is plastic that very much pollutes the waters of the oceans, destroys its inhabitants, causes huge blockages in reservoirs of different levels. Due to deforestation, rivers become shallow, and then some animals and plants disappear ... The familiar world is changing, and, unfortunately, not for the better for its inhabitants.
I really don't want our beautiful house under the blue roof to be different. I would like to see the usual summer rains in the summer, so that the herbs grow, flowers bloom, butterflies flutter and birds chirp, so that the bees collect nectar in the morning and hurry to their hives. I would like the leaves to fly around in the fall, the vegetables ripen on time, so that the caravans of birds fly south. I would like the snow to cover the ground in winter and give it warmth and peace, so that the white hare also dodges from the fox, and the kids happily skate, sled and ski. I would like the plants to wake up in the spring, so that the cheerful murmur of streams fills the space, and the hubbub of flocks of birds returning home is heard in the sky.
After all, home is where it is warm, cozy and a place where people are waiting for you. The place that you love and cherish, and want to make it better, cleaner. Let's take care of our common house, such a large and beautiful, but so fragile and priceless, a house under a blue roof.
