Цели:

• социокультурный аспект — знакомство с тем, какие животные чаще всего содержатся в британских семьях;
• развивающий аспект — развитие способности к имитации, к догадке по иллюстративной наглядности и по словообразовательным элементам, развитие умения вести диалог;
• воспитательный аспект — воспитание бережного отношения к домашним питомцам;
• учебный аспект — формирование лексических навыков говорения; сопутствующая задача: развитие умения понимать на слух с целью полного понимания содержания.

Hello, I am Kirk. I like our school zoo. We look after the animals and the plants. Mel always cleans the cages. She sometimes feeds the animals. Sam walks the puppies every day. Tom washes the dog on Sundays and he walks the dog every day. I feed the hamster, the guinea pig and the turtle every day. They are my favourite animals. And Grace likes plants. She always waters the flowers. They are beautiful!

I like our hamster and our guinea pig. I fed them and cleaned the cages. My father walked the dog. He likes looking after the dog. Our turtle is beautiful. My mother and I washed it.
