Пояснительная записка

Игра-путешествие по станциям в 4 классе проводится в конце изучения тем «Наш чудесный мир» и «Страны и люди» в качестве обобщения знаний, навыков и умений.

Цели:

  1. Воспитание личности, желающей и способной к коммуникативной деятельности на иностранном языке

  2. Развитие социокультурной компетенции

Задачи:

  1. Обобщить и закрепить основные знания, умения и навыки учащихся по теме

  2. Расширить знания уч-ся по данной теме

  3. Продолжить развитие интереса у уч-ся к изучаемому языку

  4. Формировать значимость изучения английского языка, как языка международного общения

Знания, умения, навыки и качества, которые актуализируют/ приобретут/ закрепят ученики в ходе игры:

  1. Знание названия континентов, стран, столиц

  2. Знание названия языков и национальностей изучаемых стран

  3. Умение узнавать и описывать флаги изучаемых стран

  4. Умение правильно произносить изучаемые понятия

  5. Умение использовать межпредметные связи (география, история)

  6. Умение понимать информацию на слух

  7. Умение вести беседу по теме

Необходимое оборудование и материалы:

  1. Мультимедийный проектор, экран

  2. Компьютер

  3. Карточки с названием стран, праздников

  4. Фотографии праздников

  5. Постеры с изображениями животных

  6. Географическая карта мира (мультимедиа)

  7. Кроссворд “Countries and Flags” (мультимедиа)

  8. Штампы-печати

  9. Маршрутные листы для каждой команды

  10. Оценочные листы для каждой станции













Ход игры:


  1. Вступительное слово ведущего


T: - Good morning, students! Do you like traveling? Are you interested in learning about different cultures and tasting national food of these countries? Then, this trip is for you.

What countries did you visit? Do you like them? Here we have got 3 teams who will do the traveling tasks to find treasure. Choose the leader of your group, the name, your motto and emblem/symbol. So, are you ready to start? I officially declare our trip opened!

  1. Представление команд (дают название, девиз, показывают эмблему, дают краткую информацию о стране)

T: Now we are ready to see what teams you have. Present your name, emblem, motto and tell short information about your country.


Участники представляют свои команды.


Ведущий: Any game has some rules. Listen to the rules of our game.

1. Follow your itinerary (маршрут). Don’t get lost!

2. At each station you will have some challenges (испытания). Do them well and get a stamp. You can get points for doing all the tasks. You can get additional points for giving information about your country.

3. Be aware! You can lose points for asking additional questions and for misbehaving (плохое поведение).

4. Don’t forget that different countries have different rules, but everyone likes friendly, positive and polite people.


Команды получают маршрутные листы с названиями станций и последовательностью движения по ним. На каждой станции участники зарабатывают баллы, выполняя предложенные задания. «Начальник» станции ставит свой штамп и количество заработанных командой баллов в маршрутный лист. Пройдя все станции, команды возвращаются на «базу».


  1. Подведение итогов игры

Подсчет баллов каждой команды и объявление победителя, вручение «сундука с сокровищами».











Станция: Continents and countries

(На доске карта мира. Названия континентов напечатаны на отдельных листах и прикреплены на доске. Ученики выбирают название и размещают его на континенте, после того, как отгадают загадку.)


– Here is the map of the world. You can see the names of the continents. You should place the name of the continent on the map if you guess the riddle.


За каждый правильный ответ команда получает балл.

  • This continent is the biggest in the world. What’s its name? (Asia)

  • Columbus discovered this continent but he didn’t know about it. Mexico and Canada are on this continent. (North America)

  • This continent is the smallest. Some people call it “big island”. (Australia)

  • This continent is the hottest in the world, it is famous for its ancient civilization. (Africa)

  • This continent is washed by the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans. The biggest river is the Amazon. (South America)

  • This continent is situated in the most south point of the Earth, it is covered by ice. (Antarctica)

  • This continent is not very big. There are forests and grasslands, mountains and rivers. There are no deserts on it. (Europe)


  • So, how many continents are there in the world? (seven)

Затем учащиеся берут карточки с названиями стран и размещают их на нужных континентах, называя страну, ее жителей и язык, на котором в этой стране говорят. (за каждый правильный ответ еще один балл)

  4. Koala: It is a small bear, it likes climbing the trees. It lives in Australia, it is brown, white and fluffy.

  7. Octopus: It has 8 legs, it lives in the sea and the ocean. It is a blue sea animal that can spit with ink when it is in danger.

  8. Lizard: It is very small, but very fast. It can leave its tail when it is in danger. It looks like a small crocodile.

  9. Panda: It is a lazy Chinese bear that likes bamboo. It lives in Asia, it is very nice and big, it is white and black.

  10. Dolphin: This is a kind, nice and smart sea animal that can play tricks in a zoo. It lives in the sea and the ocean, children like this animal.

  11. Shark: It is a sea animal. It has sharp teeth and can swim fast. People and fish are afraid if it. This sea animal can eat everything.

  12. Kangaroo: It can’t walk, but it can jump. It has got very big legs, but small arms. It lives in the grasslands. It can jump high and fast, it has got a pouch (bag) for its baby.

  13. Ostrich: It is a bird, but it can’t fly, it runs fast. It has a very long neck. People can ride this bird. It lives in grasslands.

  14. Rhino: It lives in savanna. It is gray. It has small eyes and ears. It is very big and looks like a hippo, but it has got a horn in its nose. It eats grass.

  15. Fly: It is small. It has big eyes. People don’t like this insect. It lives everywhere. It can fly and it always buzzes. Often you can find it in a flat, on the food.

  16. Spider: It can be small and can be big. It has 8 legs and can have many eyes. It makes its own white house and eats flies. It lives in a house, but it is not a pet.

  17. Ant: It is very small, but very strong. It lives everywhere, but only when the weather is warm. It can be black or red. It likes working.

  18. Bee: It is yellow and has black stripes. It works hard to give honey to people.

  19. Bat: It can fly. It is black. It sleeps during the day and wakes up at night. It lives in caves.

  20. Caterpillar: It can wrap into cocoon and it becomes a butterfly then.
