Класс делится на две команды. Необходимо выбрать капитанов команд. Командам предлагается правильно выполнить ряд заданий викторины по заданным темам и заработать как можно больше баллов. По окончании игры определяются победители по количеству набранных баллов.

Темы:

• «В мире животных»

• «К дню Святого Валентина» 

Цель – создание условий для развития творческого и интеллектуального потенциала учащихся; умение планировать свои действия и представлять результаты своей деятельности; развитие познавательного интереса при изучении английского языка, воспитание игровой культуры.

Обучающая цель:

• отработка лексики по теме «Животные всего мира»

• применение изученной лексики в нестандартной ситуации и расширение словарного запаса

• развитие навыков чтения и говорения

Развивающая цель:

• развитие речевых способностей учащихся

• развитие внимания и быстроты реакции

• развитие памяти

• развитие находчивости и изобретательности

Воспитательная цель:

• формирование навыков работы в команде и соблюдения норм поведения

• формирование терпимого отношения к ошибкам товарищей

• развитие положительного отношения к самому себе, осознание своих возможностей

Ход мероприятия

 T: Hello, everybody! I am glad to see you today, we are going to do the best! Are we? Today we’ve got an unusual lesson. It’s time for the competition and I wish you good luck!

T: But first I have some questions: Have you divided into teams? Have you chosen the leader of your team?

What are the names of your teams? (they should be connected with your last topic). Do you remember? -

Right you are, “Living things around the world”. Choose one of the animals as the name of your team.

T: What holiday is on the 14^th of February? – It’s true. We celebrate St valentine’s Day, the day of love. Perhaps, some tasks will be about love to animals too.

T: Let’s start our competition.

1. There is a great number of living things around us. Your first task is to name some of them looking at the pictures. You will do it one after another. You will get a point if your answer is right. (на экране - фото животных)
