«Кто хочет стать миллионером?».

Цели игры:

• систематизация и активизация знаний о странах изучаемого языка;

• развитие кругозора и интеллектуальных способностей учащихся;

• развитие и поддержание интереса учащихся к изучению английского языка;

• воспитание уважительного отношения к культуре англоязычных стран,

• формирование гражданско-патриотических качеств и национального самосознания учащейся молодёжи.

Участники игры: учащиеся группы 521п, изучающие английский язык. В игре принимают участие две команды. Каждая команда состоит из 6 участников, остальные учащиеся группы представляют аудиторию.

О правилах игры: 

Ведущий (преподаватель) приветствует участников и болельщиков с началом игры "Кто хочет стать миллионером" и рассказывает условия игры. Каждой команде предстоит ответить на 15 вопросов, каждый вопрос имеет свою "цену". В случае неверного ответа команда покидает игру с тем результатом, которого она достигла на предыдущем вопросе. На обсуждение вопроса даётся 1 минута. В течение игры её участники могут воспользоваться тремя подсказками: 1. "пятьдесят на пятьдесят" (убираются два заведомо неправильных ответа); 2. "помощь зала" (голосование проходит поднятием рук за каждый из вариантов, а игроки оценивают, за какой из них голосов было больше, или же решают воспользоваться своим вариантом ответа); 3. "звонок другу" (игроки "звонят" кому-либо из одногруппников из числа присутствующих в зале).

В данной игре на первом месте стоит не удача, а хорошие знания по географии, по истории, культуре англоязычных стран.

Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It is devoted to the English-speaking countries. I’m sure you’ve read a lot of books and got useful information about the countries. This competition will show your achievements and your knowledge of the matter. I wish you success.

Ведущий: Now I am going to tell you how to play a game. Each team gets money for every correct answer. If the answer is wrong, you get no money. The team which gets more money wins. There are three helpers:

1. 50/50 two wrong answers are taken away;

2. the help of audience;

3. phone to your friend.

In my opinion, I should mention some facts about our native country Belarus. It is a country with a unique history and rich cultural heritage. In conclusion, I’d like to say that you must proud of Belarus, our wonderful nature, welcoming and sociable people. We should save our national traditions, we must respect our ancestors and shouldn’t forget our history.

Let’s listen to the song about Motherland and think about a sense of belonging to a Belarusian nation.
