MOMI

MOMI (The Museum of the MOVING IMAGE) is a very interesting museum. The history and magic of cinema and TV is explained here. There are hundreds of clips from films and TV programmes. Visitors can take an active part. It is both interesting and good fun.

The British Museum, completed in 1847 in London, is English architect Sir Robert Smirke’s best-known work. It is one of the largest museums in the world. It consists of the National Library and Museum of History, Archeology, Art and Technology.

Madame Tussaud’s is the world's most famous wax museum. It has one of the largest collection of lifesize wax figures of famous people in the world. You can see famous actors, models, sports, royals and politicians.

Hyde Park is one of the largest parks in central London and one of the Royal Parks of London, famous for its Speaker’s Corner. Speaker’s Corner is the place in Hyde Park where people may speak on any topic they like.

Buckingham Palace is the Queen’s official London residence and is used to receive and entertain guests on state, ceremonial and official occasions for the Royal Family. 

The Houses of Parliament , officially the New Palace of Westminster, is the seat of The British government. Parliament consists of the House of Lords and the House of Commons. The House of commons sits to the side of the Clock Tower (Big Ben), the House of Lords – to the Victoria Tower.

Kensington Gardens is one of the Royal Parks of London. The statue of the famous fairytale hero, Peter Pen, can be seen in Kensington Gardens.

St. James’ s Park , the oldest London Park, is very beautiful with its trees and flower beds and view of Buckingham Palace.

Big Ben

The Tower of London is a very big castle. It is the oldest place and the most famous of all historical buildings in London. The Tower of London on the Thames river was a fortress, a palace, a prison, a zoo. Now it is a museum.

Big Ben is the big clock with a bell on the Clock Tower of Parliament.

Regent’s Park is one of the Royal Parks of London. It’s the Park where the London Zoo is situated.

Westminster Abbey is the best-known church in England, beautiful with its architecture and ancient history. It’s a symbol of London.
