Is leisure / free time the responsibility of the family or educational institution? Teachers and parents have been interested in this issue for more than a year, and everyone has a different opinion. I believe that it is, because the environment represented by the family and the educational institution have a great influence on the development of the child.

If you do not follow the child’s leisure, he will surely choose with his hobby what will be interesting to him. But interesting - not always useful. It often happens that the activities of interest to the child not only do not develop him, but also vice versa. Suppose if a child plays games on the phone or computer, he can get carried away with it too much and stop monitoring the time spent in games. Long games on a computer or phone not only impair the child’s vision, but also, in the worst case, the psyche. If, in his free time, the child prefers to develop himself, this will affect him well. The task of the family and teachers in the educational institution is to convey to the child that free time should also be used wisely and with benefit. Reading books, educational games will be very useful for the child. If he begins to find it to be beneficial, it will be very good. But this child needs help.

Modern realities are such that children prefer the interesting, neglecting the useful. And only the family and the educational institution are able to direct the pastime of the child in the right direction. They are responsible for this. Of course, this is difficult, but, as the American writer Helen Keller said: “There are no shortcuts to any place worth going”

Если не следить за досугом ребёнка, он наверняка будет выбирать своим увлечением то, что будет для него интересно. Но интересно - не всегда полезно. Часто бывает так, что интересующие ребёнка занятия не только не развивают его, но и наоборот вредят. Допустим, если ребёнок будет играть в игры на телефоне или компьютере, он может чересчур этим увлечься, и перестать следить за временем проведения в играх. Долгие игры в компьютер или телефон не только ухудшают зрение ребёнка, но и, в худшем случае психику. Если же в своё свободное время ребёнок предпочтёт саморазвиваться, это хорошо на него повлияет. Задача семьи и педагогов в образовательном учреждении донести до ребёнка то, что свободное время также надо использовать грамотно и с пользой. Прочтение книги, развивающие игры будут очень полезны для ребёнка. Если он начнёт находить в этом пользу, это будет очень хорошо. Но в этом ребёнку надо помочь.

Современные реалии таковы, что дети больше предпочитают интересное, пренебрегая полезным. И только семья и образовательное учреждение в силах направить времяпровождение ребёнка в правильное русло. Они ответственны за это. Конечно, это трудно, но, как говорила американская писательница Хелен Келлер: «К достойной цели нет коротких путей»
