 Aim: to learn more about videogames and find out what effects they have on teenagers.   The object of the study is videogames and their genres. The subject of the study is beneficial effects of videogames. Hypothesis: Playing videogames is good for children’s education, health and social skills. Basic research methods: survey, literature review, analysis.

The theoretical part:  Brief information   about video games   Computer games (or video games) are computer programs that organize gameplay and have many genres, such as story games, shooters, and arcade games, among others.

2. MMORPG (MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER ONLINE ROLE-PLAYING GAME) - A computer game that combines the genre of role-playing games with the genre of massively multiplayer online games. 

3. Hypercasual - a mobile video game that doesn't require much effort for gameplay.

Positive effects of videogames They help improve spatial awareness, develop the ability to follow moving objects, reduce impulsiveness, and help people overcome dyslexia. Video games improve a person's ability to multitask and increase their mental flexibility.  They also help to improve productivity, especially for professions that require good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and quick decision-making skills.

Negative effects They harm your health, including your eyesight and your mental health, leading to worse diseases in the long run. The main problems caused by these substances are addiction, obsession and toxicity, as well as irritability.

The practical part:  2.1 The results of opinion polls   Our survey involved 17 teenage participants, who were divided into three groups: 1. Positive attitude - 12 participants (71%) 2. Neutral attitude - 5 participants (29%) 3. Negative attitude - 0 participants (0%)

Conclusion From all of the above, we can see that video games, for the most part, have benefits for people. However, most adults treat video games with disdain, they do not like them.And for some teenagers, on the contrary, they are even a hobby.
