Japan is the land of the rising sun .
Japan is one of the most developed countries in the world with a thousand-year history, interesting culture and traditions.
This is a country of contrasts: unusual and delicious food, music, anime, fashion in clothing, Japanese comics, hello kitty.
Anime — Japanese animation.
The word "anime" comes from the English word animation. Currently, the term "anime" has already entered the international lexicon. In Japanese, the word "anime" refers to any animation, regardless of its style and country of production. Anime can be in different genres and styles, for example, sports, romance, adventure, psychology, science fiction.
«My neighbor Totoro» Hayao Miyazaki
In general, anime is a complex and multifaceted layer of Japanese culture, in which one can find both template crafts at one time and real works of art (for example, the works of Hayao Miyazaki, Makoto Shinkai and other masters). Japanese animation is diverse and interesting to different audiences: both those who like to have fun and relax, and those who are looking for a deep meaning and twisted plot in cinema.

Hello Kitty
Hello Kitty is a Japanese pop culture character depicted as an anthropomorphic white cat of the Japanese Bobtail breed with a red bow on its head. [1] Full name Kitty White (Japanese. キティ・ホワイト Kiti of Howaito))
About the name of the cat at first, too, there were doubts. Its creator was torn between the variants of "Hello Kitty" and "Kitty White" — the name of one of Alice's cats from the book "Alice in Wonderland". But the latter option was eventually rejected.
Japanese food
In Japan, the term "Japanese cuisine" (Japanese 日本 料理 , 和 食 "nihon ryo: ri" or "washoku") refers to traditional Japanese foods.
The classic format for informal meals is rice, soup and several side dishes: fish (usually grilled or boiled), pickles and vegetables. All of these dishes are served in small bowls from where they are eaten with chopsticks. The most popular spices are soy sauce and wasabi. Among the drinks in Japan, green tea, beer and sake are preferred.
Rolls ( 巻 き 寿司 makizushi, they are also sushi rolls) is one of the varieties of sushi in Japanese cuisine, a distinctive feature of which is twisting with a bamboo mat ( 巻 簾 - makisu) into a cylindrical shape, followed by cutting into slices.
Onigiri ( お に ぎ り (御 握 り) Onigiri) is a Japanese dish made of unleavened rice, molded into a triangle or ball. Usually, the onigiri is filled with filling and wrapped in a sheet of dried nori seaweed.
Japanese clothes
Kimono - a long robe with wide sleeves tied with a belt (Japanese 着 物 , kimono, "clothes"; Japanese 和服 , wafuku, "national dress") - traditional clothing in Japan. Since the middle of the 19th century, it has been considered the Japanese "national costume". Also, the kimono is the workwear of geisha and maiko (future geisha).
Yukata (Japanese 浴衣 ) is a traditional Japanese clothing that is a summer casual cotton, linen or hemp kimono without lining.
Festivals in Japan
One of the most spectacular festivals in Japan takes place in the small town of Chichibu near the capital, Tokyo. The Night Festival of Luminous Chariots is held in early December and is dedicated to the six kami (spirits of the city's protectors). The platforms are also "owned" by one of the kami.
Platforms, at least ten meters long, decorated with lanterns, tapestries and gilded wood carvings, accompanied by drummers and flutists, "float" through the streets of Chichibu for two days, attracting a large number of tourists from all over Japan.
On the evening of December 3, all the chariots line up near the city hall, and the entire city is adorned with fireworks that last for almost two and a half hours.
