Речевая зарядка

Учитель проводит речевую зарядку с помощью стихотворения:

Look at the blackboard. You can see the proverb there. How do you understand them?.

«Hobbies differ like tastes».

«Active life and interesting hobbies make you feel happy».

"Twice happy is the man who has a hobby, for he has a hobby, for he has two worlds to live in…"

Учащиеся читают и объясняют как понимают пословицы.

Целеполагание и мотивация

Учитель мотивирует познавательную деятельность учащихся, задает вопросы, направляя учащихся к формулированию темы урока:

T: How do you think, what is the topic of our lesson? You are right, the theme is “Do we have the same hobbies?” And at the end of the lesson we will – speak about the hobbies and answer the questions; - use new words;

Учащиеся отвечают на вопрос, формулируют тему урока.

1. Определяем значение слова Hobby

I’d like to begin our lesson with the question: What is a hobby? Look at your card and choose the variant which you like.

What hobbies do you know? What hobbies are popular in your families? What do you like to do at your free time? Is a hobby important for you?

Let me to begin with the question: what do you usually find in your mail-box? Bills and ads? But not me! Because about a year I regulary find new nice postcards in my mailbox. I have discovered a new hobby for me – Postcrossing.

The Postcrossing project was started by Paulo Magalhães from Portugal in 2005. Ana Campos designed the website.

Postcrossing is a hobby where strangers send each other postcards across the world. The main idea is that: if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from the random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world. Sometimes you can get the card from the place you have never heard about.

Postcrossing helps me to collect the cards from all over the word, it allows me to travel from my armchair and to communicate with other people.

Postcrossing is interesting and exciting and I can be proud of because im one of 652112 registered users in 210 different countries!
