План – конспект внеклассного мероприятия по английскому язык.

Тема урока: “ Кnights’ tournament ”

Цели урока: создать условия для:

- совершенствования лексических и грамматических навыков говорения;

расширения кругозора учащихся,

развитие смекалки, сообразительности, чувства прекрасного, интереса к истории и культуре человечества;

- развития фонематического слуха, внимания, памяти, логического

мышления, речевых способностей;

- воспитания положительных личностных качеств: ответственности,

доброжелательности, чувства взаимопомощи и коллективизма;

воспитания интереса к изучению английского языка.

-знакомство учащихся с интересными фактами истории культуры Средневековой Европы.

- воспитания у учащихся мальчиков- бережного, уважительного, нежного отношения к девочкам.

Ход мероприятия.

-Today we are going to have an unusual day. You know that recently we had a holiday that is called “Women’s day”. We celebrate it on the 8^th of March.

-Whom do you congratulate on the 8^th of March?

- The first person in your list was your mother because the heart of a home is a mother. 

-Now let’s look how some of you say warm words to your dearest mums.

Fairytales and sweet dream nights, (Сказками и сладкими ночными снами,)

You gave the gift of life to me (Ты дала дар жизни мне)
And then in love, you set me free. (И затем, любя, дала мне свободу.)
I thank you for your tender care, (Спасибо тебе за нежную заботу,)
For deep warm hugs and being there. (За крепкие теплые объятия и присутствие.)

Do you know how to say «Мамочка, Мамуля» in English?

Mommy — американский английский.
Mummy — британский английский.

What about sister?

- sis |sɪs| - sissy |ˈsɪsɪ|   - little sister  — сестренка

What about grandmother?

• Granny.

But exсept our families there are a lot of other wonderful women. You can see them in the street, in films, in your classes and even here. Men do all sorts of things to capture the heart of the woman they love.

• And now I want to tell you a story.

• Once upon a time,  in a faraway kingdom  gymnasium  N9 there were beautiful princesses and princes. They were happy and cheerful and that’s what happened once.

1: it’s so boring in our kingdom. Nothing interesting.

2: I don’t know what to do.

3: maybe… declare a war.

1: No, it’s not modern today!

2: and how can we find out if our princes are brave or not?,

3: let’s organize knights’ tournament?

1: great idea!

2: and let’s choose the best knight of our school(class).

Звучат фанфары

-dear friends, in our classroom we hold knights’ tournament in honor of the beautiful ladies. Knights are always models of courage and good manners. And I hope our princes show it.

After every task our princesses should write a name and (a form) of a prince who is the best in each contest on this flowers and put them here.

Let’s start.

-Answer the questions. What kind of knight are you? And what can you do?

-Girls, put you flowers.

There is no such thing as an ugly woman! Не существует некрасивых женщин! Said Винсент Ван Гог. And a famous French designer Коко Шанель said : «Beauty, what a weapon!». This phrase became a well-known idiom. It means “красота – оружие женщин’.

• There are a lot of special idioms to describe women’s beauty

Let’s speak about women’s beauty in English.

От красоты может замирать сердце и прерываться дыхание, в английском языке в таких случаях используется идиома take my breathe away.

О внеземной красоте говорят – god’s own creation (божье творение) или out of this world (не из этого мира).

Когда женщина своей наружностью производит неизгладимое впечатление на окружающих, о ней говорят – cut a dash.
Например,

She cut a dash at her wedding day. – Она сразила всех наповал своей красотой на свадьбе.

Такие люди затмевают всех окружающих, «крадут шоу», как говорят англичане: steal the show.

О симпатичных женщинах и девушках могут сказать – pretty as a picture, красивая как картинка. А о действительно красивых, роскошных леди на английском языке говорят – look like a million dollars.

Красота – сложное понятие.

Your next task is to tell compliments to our princesses and tell how you would call a lady of your heart. For example: my dear, my sweet sugar…

Girls, put your flowers.

- nowadays, knights are people who are honest, brave and polite. They are always ready to help and save their ladies. They are also strong and adroit.

Next task for you is to pop the balloon while dancing.

A knight in love wants to drown in flowers his woman. That’s why there were different flowers on their coats of arms.

Here you can see some flowers and coats of arms. Your task is to decorate your coats of arms with this flowers.

• Do you know that flowers have their special meanings? Knights knew about it.

For example : rose represents love. Lilly represents- sadness and clearness . forget-me- not represents devotion, violet is modesty, daffodil means that knight loves himself very much.

• Girls put your flowers.

• Well, it’s time to count our flowers and see who is the best knight of women’s hearts.

• We congratulate you. It’s your prize.

Our event is over. I hope our knights will always respect and help women, and women will  inspire men  to heroism.
