ПОЛОЖЕНИЕ
о проведении городской Олимпиады «Шекспириада»
для учащихся 9-10 классов
«Пусть будущие славят поколенья…»
Олимпиада посвящается 400-ой годовщине памяти великого британского драматурга Уильяма Шекспира и Году Великобритании в России
"Для нас Шекспир не одно только громкое, яркое имя, которому поклоняются лишь изредка и издали; он сделался нашим достоянием, он вошел в нашу плоть и кровь", - так сказал о нем великий русский писатель Иван Сергеевич Тургенев.
I. ЦЕЛИ ОЛИМПИАДЫ
Выявить способности к изучению языковых дисциплин гуманитарного цикла среди старшеклассников Димитровграда – главная цель проводимого состязания. Это отличный способ для молодых людей с гуманитарным складом ума проверить свои знания английского языка и умение оперировать ими в преддверии выбора будущей профессии.
II ЗАДАЧИ ОЛИМПИАДЫ
1.1. Развитие творческого потенциала и мотивации обучающихся к изучению английского языка.
1.2. Поощрение углубленного изучения английского языка, в том числе изучения творчества Уильяма Шекспира.
II УЧАСТНИКИ ОЛИМПИАДЫ
2.1. В олимпиаде могут принять участие учащиеся 9-10 классов образовательных учреждений города Димитровграда, владеющие английским языком и интересующиеся творчеством У.Шекспира (по два человека от параллели)
2.2Заявки для участия в олимпиаде подаются в электронном виде по адресу [email protected]
III. СОДЕРЖАНИЕ ОЛИМПИАДЫ
Олимпиада содержит тестовые задания о жизни и творчестве У. Шекспира, известные цитаты великого драматурга, задания грамматического характера. Обучающимся будет предоставлена возможность попробывать себя в роли поэта-переводчика. Желающим принять участие в олимпиаде иметь двуязычные словари.
