Did you know that cakes can be not only delicious, but also healthy?

Our cake is a low–calorie dessert that meets all the principles of a healthy diet - providing the body with all the necessary trace elements and vitamins. We have replaced the "harmful" products with the useful ones in which they are contained.

A little bit of history.

There are several versions of the origin of cakes. According to the first – they originated in the Middle Ages in Italy and translated from Italian "cake" means "ornate", "richly decorated".

According to the second – the progenitors of cakes are oriental sweets. The third version is that they appeared in France, because French confectioners simply have no equal in making desserts.

But I want to note that in the Middle Ages, the cake was not called the sweet dessert with cream and decorations that we are used to. Then the name "cake" was bread baked in the shape of a circle and had a bright fried crust on both sides.

I will share with you our favorite family recipe

for the “Raspberry Miracle” diet cake.

We get sticky dough, which we continue to knead with our hands. We pack our dough in plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

This gives the right to call raspberries "the berry of health and longevity."

Grind it in a blender.

.

Since raspberries contain small bones, we need to grind our mashed potatoes through a sieve. In the resulting homogeneous berry puree, add 8 g of sweetener and 7 g of corn starch and send it to the stove, stirring constantly. As a result, we should get a very thick puree. By the time it took 5 minutes. Let's leave the mashed potatoes to cool.

The resulting delicate cream is carefully transferred to a pastry bag. The cooled berry puree is also placed in a pastry bag. We put everything in the refrigerator to assemble the cake.

We lay out a baking mat on a baking sheet and put our cake on it. We make several punctures with a fork so that our dough "breathes". Then we send it to a preheated 180 degree oven for 15-20 minutes.

Similarly, we prepare the second cake.

To give the resulting cakes softness, we will use impregnation. To do this, mix 15 g of warm boiled water with 3 g of sweetener in a glass. With the help of a brush, we will liberally lubricate our base on each side with the resulting impregnation and give a little time to infuse.

5. Assembling the cake We put a little cream on the cake stand and put the first cake. This is done so that our cake does not slide on the surface. Apply the cream and filling alternating with each other. Cover with a second cake and apply the cream over the entire surface.

Decorate the finished cake. We have dark chocolate, confectionery sprinkles and cookies made together with cakes from leftover dough. The diameter of our cake turned out to be 20 cm. In the Guinness Book of Records, you can find an interesting record that belongs to a confectioner from Michigan, B. Cornell. She prepared a 100-tiered cake, the height of which was 31 meters. Surprisingly, this dish has its own holiday – the International Cake Day, which is celebrated on July 20.     . Enjoy your meal!
