Lesson 11. “ My Family ” on page 26 and 29 "Fruits"

The aim of the lesson

To develop pupil’s knowledge , experiences and skills both in verbal and written domains of speech and pay a particular attention to their reading . And pupil’s skills and habit’s in oral speech, and reading, using new words in their speech . To improve pronunciation of some words in the text . And also help them expend their outlook.

English text book from 6th form written by P.N.Satskaya, P. Jamshedov, K. Alidodkhonov ,picture grammar table , cards

Text book ,words , cards ,banner, phrases, verbs, dictionary grammar, chalk, blackboard

Lesson period:

  1. Organization of the lesson:

a)Greeting :

I enter into the classroom and see if pupils are not ready for the lesson. In case if pupils seem not to be ready , I wait for them a little. Then I say:

Teacher : Good morning , dear pupil.

Pupils: Good morning , dear teacher

Teacher : Thank You , sit down please.

b) A talk with a pupil on duty :

Teacher : Who is on duty today ?

Pupil: I’m on duty today.

Teacher : Who is absent today ?

Pupil : All are present today .

Teacher: Very well . Tell me something about the weather, please.

Pupil : The weather is so good , the sun is shine brightly

Teacher: Thank you . Sit down , please.

 c) Phonetic drill:

For phonetic drills I use the poem and verbs. I read the poem and verbs loudly and the pupils will repeat it in chorus after me :

AUTUMN

This is the season,

When fruit is sweet,

This is the season,

When schoolchildren meet.

Beat – beat – beaten

Do – did- done

Write –wrote – written

2.Going through the homework:

I ask questions and pupils have to answer my question.

Teacher : What was you homework for today ?

Pupil: Our home work was the exercises 1 – 2 on page 27

Teacher: Thank you . Let’s check it up.

Pupil’s begin to answer

3.Introduction and explanation of the new material:

Teacher : Today’s task is My Family

Describe the family.

These are the members of the family.

Father : a name , 40, the principal of a school, black hair, eyes, a face, a moustache, fat, round, tall, a hobby.

My father’s name is ___________ . His 40 years old. He has a black hair, brown eyes and a round face. He is tall……………….

Mother : a name, 37, an actress of the Drama Theatre, hair, fair, a face thin, oval, beautiful, a hobby.

Daughter : a name, 20, a student of The Teacher’s Training University, fair hair, face oval, thin, beautiful, blue eyes, hair, a hobby.

Son : a name, 27, an engineer, a moustache, black hair, a face round, eyes thing, The Agricultural University, handsome, small, big, a hobby.

Grandfather: a name, 65, a face, round, a moustache, fat, a turner, grey hair, small, big, eyes, the aluminum plant, round, tall, a pensioner, a hobby.

Grandmother: name, 58, a face, round, a pensioner, grey hair, small, big, eyes, a dressmaker, fat, thin, a hobby.

Read the dialogue, act it. Make up your own dialogues.

P – What does Ali’s uncle look like ? Is he fat or thin?

P – He is not fat, he is thin .

P – Does he have a moustache?

P – Yes, he has .

4.Consolidation of the new material :

A first I will give them some example for their first theme and then, I will give them some exercises. Answer the questions:

1. Is your family large or small?

2. Have you brothers and sisters?

3.How old are your parents, sisters and brothers?

4. Have you grandparents?

5. Are they pensioners?

6.What are your parents?

7. What were your parents?

8.What were your grandparents?

9.Have you aunts and uncles?

10.Have you ant cousins?

Have a pair talk about :

  2. your grandparents,

  3. your brothers and sisters,

  5. your aunts and uncle

5.Giving the home work:

Teacher : Dear pupils your home work for the next lesson will be the new vocabulary on page 28, and exercise on page 29. Write about your family.

6.Giving marks:

At the end of the lesson I’ll announce their marks , who were active and answered for home work and to my additional questions.
