Конспект урока-деловой игры

по английскому языку по теме «Fashion» в 9 классе.

Учитель: Е.А.Андреева.

Цели:

- закрепить изученный лексический материал во всех видах речевой деятельности, продолжать обучение навыкам монологической речи;

- развивать фонематический слух учащихся, умение выделять необходимую информацию, высказывать и обосновывать свое мнение, а также творческие способности учащихся, познавательный интерес к миру моды;

- воспитывать культуру внешнего вида, умение разбираться в стилях и направлениях моды;

Оборудование:

- интерактивный комплекс, аудиозапись песни «Мода» в исполнении Леди Гага, видео интервью со сверстниками, с известным дизайнером, наглядности из модных журналов для проекта.

Тип урока: комбинированный.

Ход урока:


1.Организационный момент.

-Good morning, dear students and our guests! I`m glad to see you all. Today we have an unusual lesson. There are some guests here. And you must be very active and creative! So, I`d like you to look at the blackboard and guess the topic we`re going to speak on. (FASHION) You`re right!

There are different clothes and different style. People want to be in fashion and try to look like top-models from magazine or TV-shows. Nowadays it`s rather challenging to make such a clothes to make customers buy this or that. Today we have guests, as I`ve already mentioned. We reached an agreement that we work at a marketing company. And our guests asked us for help. They want to launch a new line of up-to-date clothes for teenagers.

2.Фонетическая зарядка.

-But first, we have to make some phonetic exercises to be better speakers… Repeat the sounds and some words ([s], [ei], [t], [a:], style, fashion, clothes, jeans, shirt). Well done!

3.Лексическая зарядка.

-Look at the blackboard, please. There are some pictures of clothes, please, name the things. (…) Thank you!

4. Говорение.

-So our guests asked us for help. They want to launch a new line of up-to-date clothes for teenagers. In our marketing company we made some work.

S.1:

-We have already studied the demand of this generation and now we`re ready to represent some statistics. So, my team works with classical clothes, especially with school uniform, because our interviewees are schoolchildren. The results are the following: boys wear special suits consisting of trousers, shirts, jackets and strips. For girls it`s a blouse, a skirt or a school sundress. They also wear classical trousers.

Teacher: Ok, thank you. Who`s the next?

S.2:

-It`s not a surprise, that teenagers have a little evening clothes. If they have to go somewhere for the special party, they used to wear something cosy and beautiful.

Teacher: Ok, thank you. Did anybody else have prepare the information?

S.3:

-My team works with casual style. You know, my statistics is absolute for casual style! Look at the chart numbers! I think that answer is obvious!

Teacher: Ok, yes. It`s absolutely true. But is it possible to change the school uniform to jeans and sweetshots? I`m a teacher and I find it absolutely impossible!

S.4:

-Excuse me, we got a message from our agents. Here are the results of poll of parents and teachers.

Teacher: Thank you! Look here: some parents agree with casual but teachers insist on classical clothes. They want teenagers to wear school uniform because they look solidly and representatively! Parents are ready to vary clothes… I think it`s possible. But what do you think?

G.1:

- I believe that school uniform is absolutely necessary at school, but we should`t forget about the life outside.

G.2:

- I`m a designer… I agree that school is school and uniform is cool, and actually we can launch something suitable for school and not only.

Teacher: Would you be so kind to make a presentation for us?

G.3:

- Of course! Look at our models!

(Models show 3 styles, but casual is in general)

Teacher: Let`s introduce your clothes!

(…)

Thank you! As far as I can see your clothes is rather comfortable! Can you make some physical exercises to show us the clothes in practice?

5. Физкультминутка.

- Now it’s time to rest. Listen a famous song “Fashion” by Lady Gaga and enjoy music.

6. Рефлексия. Подведение итогов.

So, our guests are so talented designers! I find your job very interesting! And also our team made a very good job! I called my friend/ a well-known fashion critic, Evelina Chromchenko and she was so kind to help us to make a final decision. And one of her fashion agents is here today. Let`s listen to her!

  • Good morning! I`m very pleased to be here! As far as I can see, casual style is the winner and you will launch new line of casual looks. That`s great! Evelina is fond of classical clothes, but for teenagers it would be better to vary casual and classic.
