Summer Holidays.

Цели урока:

Обучающая: развивать навыки монологической устной и письменной речи; активизировать ранее изученную лексику по теме “Каникулы” в устной и письменной речи;

Развивающие: развивать интеллектуальные способности учащихся; формировать умение выделять главное, сравнивать и анализировать.

Воспитательные: развивать у учащихся самостоятельность мышления; воспитывать интерес к предмету

Ход урока:

1. Организационные моменты:

• Good morning, boys and girls. I’m glad to see you. How are you?

• Fine, thank you.

• And how are you?

• I’m fine, thank you. Sit down.

Today we’ll speak about summer holidays, make up a story about your summer holidays.

II. Фонетическая зарядка:

I want you to read the words from the blackboard now. Let’s read them all together in a whisper. Who can read them aloud? Can you translate them? Read the words in pairs, please and make up word combinations.

to miss a trip

to take shopping

to enjoy holidays

to start mushrooms

to gather care of

Keys: to spend holidays, to take care of, to go abroad, to miss parents, to start a trip, to enjoy shopping, to go shopping, to gather mushrooms.

III. Речевая разминка.

Учащиеся отвечают на вопросы учителя, используя слова, записанные на доске для фонетической зарядки.

Вопросы учителя:

- Where did you spend your last summer holidays?

- Do you take care of your granny?

- Will you go abroad next summer?

- Did you go shopping yesterday?

- Do you like to gather mushrooms?

- Did you have a trip last summer? When did you start it?

- Does your mother enjoy shopping?

- Can you gather mushrooms all day long?

А теперь давайте поговорим, что Вы делали летом, в летние каникулы, для этого надо употребить глаголы в Past Simple.

Ребята, мы помним, чтобы построить предложение, глаголы надо поставить в прошедшее время: правильные глаголы, неправильные глаголы.

Let’s make up some sentences using these word combinations.

IV. Активизация изученного материала по теме: «Летние каникулы».

Now you will work in groups of four. You have 5 minutes to read the text about Mike’s holidays and complete charts

Mike’s summer holidays.

I like summer holiday very much. I spent my summer holiday in the country. I rode a bike and took a lot of pictures of my friends. Also I picked berries and gathered mushrooms in the forest.

In July I went to the summer camp. I played football, took part in sport competitions and made many friends. In the evening we made a fire, played the guitar and sang songs.

In August I was at the seaside. I swam in the sea, lay in the sun, talked to friends and listened to the radio, read interesting books.

I had a good time in summer.

На доске учитель рисует большой кластер и каждая группа ребят читает, что она выписала из текста для каждой схемы:

What did Mike do in the camp?

What did Mike do at the seaside?

What did Mike do in the country?

Заполнили кластер на доске.

V. Физкультминутка.

Кто-то проводит каникулы за городом, кто-то в лагере, кто-то на море, а кто-то в океане.

My Bonnie is over the ocean.

VI. Совершенствование навыков монологической речи по теме: «Каникулы».

На доске написан план составления монологического высказывания, в неправильном порядке:
