Цель урока: Формирование коммуникативных умений с целью передачи своего мнения о погоде и одежде.
Задачи:
Учить действовать по образцу, употребляя лексику по теме: «Одежда и погода»;
Совершенствовать и расширять лексический запас по теме;
Формировать умение МР и аудирования по теме урока;
Развивать навыки публичного выступления;
Средства обучения:
Student’s book + Workbook, «Английский в фокусе»
Компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, колонки;
DVD к данному учебному пособию, видео фрагменты;
Раздаточный материал: фонетические карточки, карточки с упражнениями, лексические карточки, отсканированные фотографии учеников на природе;
Режимы работы: фронтальная, индивидуальная, групповая, парная;
Ход урока
Приветствие и целеполагание. Warming up
-Good afternoon! How are you today? (Ученики реагируют на приветствие учителя.)
-Look at the blackboard. What pictures do you see? What do you think of them? What are we going to talk about at our lesson? Sure, the weather and clothes!
II. Phonetic drill: (фонетические карточки) Read and try to pronounce correctly. (Учитель произносит по строчке, затем ученики хором и индивидуально).

What’s the weather like in the jungle? (hot, wet, rainy). Ученики отвечают на вопросы учителя по материалу видеофильма
In the desert ( hot, dry), in the South Pole (snowy, freezing), in the mountains (foggy), in the forest (windy), on the island (stormy).
-How do we ask about the weather?
P1: What is the weather like today?
-Tell me the «weather» words, please.
P1: sunny, windy, hot, and rainy;
P2: cloudy, cool, warm;
P3: snowy, frosty, foggy; и т.д.
-What is the weather like today?
P1 описывает погоду
P2 дополняет описание
-What season do you like best?
P1, P2, P3 (My favourite season is … because…). Описывают любимый сезон и говорят почему они любят его)
-The weather may be cold, rainy, or hot. To feel well you must dress right.
What words describing clothes do you remember?
P1 pinafore, trousers, shorts;
P2 jacket, sandals, shoes;
P3 anorak, jeans, coat и т.д.
IV. Read the words of ex. 1 p. 88
Now watch a short film and tell me what Kitty is doing at the moment.

Pair work
Ask and say what you are wearing today.
P1 I am wearing a grey dress today and you?
P2 You look great! I am wearing blue jeans and a red anorak.
Read the dialogue of ex. 4 p. 89 in pairs. Answer the questions. (Where is Patsy? Where is she going? What is she wearing?).
Read aloud all the verbs in the Present Continuous tense.
P1, P2, P3 (I’m getting, are you wearing, I’m wearing, I’m joking, I’m hanging up)
Do ex. 5 p. 89 and use present continuous.
Why are the girls speaking about the weather? (Почему девочки разговаривают о погоде перед полётом?)
P1 They decide what clothes to wear. (Они решают какую одежду одеть, чтобы было удобно).
Therefore, we choose clothes depending on weather.

VIII. Look at the screen! (Перед уроком ученикам было предложено принести фотографии своей семьи или личные фото на природе).
Whom can you see in the photo? Демонстрирую свою фотографию.

P2 She is in the field.

What is the weather like?
P3 The weather is not fine. It is cloudy, there is no sun but it’s not windy. It’s not raining, as well.
What is she wearing?
P4 She is wearing a warm blue jacket, black sport trousers, a warm cap and mittens.
Does she look great? Does she dress right?
P5 Yes, she dresses right and looks great.
Now describe this photo. P1 (This is Nina Viktorovna. She is in the field. The weather is not fine. It is cloudy, there is no sun but it’s not windy. It’s not raining, as well. Nina Viktorovna is wearing a warm blue jacket, black sport trousers, a warm cap and mittens. She dresses right and looks great.)
Describe your own photos to each other. Ученикам, у которых могут возникнуть сложности в описании, предложены карточки со схемой описания или карточки с пропусками. Два ученика делают описание фотографий перед классной аудиторией.
