Тема урока: Этикет в Великобритании

Цели урока: Формирование коммуникативных навыков посредствам изучения иностранного языка

Задачи:

1. Образовательные:

– закрепление лексики и совершенствование лексических навыков по данной теме, умение понимать и воспринимать на слух информацию об этикете в Британии

2. Развивающие:

- развитие навыков аудирования, чтения, просмотрового чтения, поиска информации в тексте, развитие способности к сравнению, формулированию выводов из полученной информации тексте, развитие монологической и диалогической речи.

3. Воспитательные:

- расширение и углубление знаний по теме, развитие социокультурной и коммуникативной компетенции; формирование толерантности к восприятию чужой культуры.

Техническое обеспечение урока: учебник “Spotlight” 8, карточки на каждого ученика для групповой работы и чтения, презентация.

Ход урока:

1.Организационный момент.  Приветствие. 

T: Good morning, dear friends! I’m glad to see you. How are you today?

Ps: Fine, thanks.

T: Sit down, please. I’m fine too. If you are ready, let’s begin our lesson.

2. Введение в тему урока:

T: Today we are going to have a very interesting lesson.

        At the beginning of our lesson let’s look at the pictures (слайд 1) and guess the topic of the lesson.

(Догадайтесь о чем идет речь)

Pupils express their ideas. The theme of our lesson is…etiquette.

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

T: Repeat the following words after me (слайд 2):

Etiquette, politeness, spirit, feeling, communication, skills, relations;

particular quality, intonation of the voice, make a good impression,

unwritten rules, relations, good, manners, social behavior, hand gestures

Now, give the definition of ETIQUETTE (подбирают слова, которые ассоциируются со словом этикет): manners, respect, communication ets.

3. Чтение с извлечением информации.

T: Let us listen to and read the information about Social Etiquette in the UK

Учащиеся читают текст упражнения 2 стр. 21 (Read the title of the text and the headings under the pictures. What do you think people in the UK do in these situations?)

Учащиеся начинают анализировать содержание текста, работают в парах и задают вопросы по тексту:

P1 - P2: Ex 3 page 21

Answer the questions.

1 How do the British greet someone for the first time?

2 How do they greet friends and relatives?

3 What can you talk about with a British person?

4 What should you do when you visit a British person? 

4. Практика говорения.

T: Now we will work in groups. There will be 4 groups. Do the Quiz (обучающиеся получают задания на карточках):

5. Teacher: Let’s do True/ Falsе exercise (слайд 3)

1. Once you sit at a meal table, you should place your napkin on your lap.

2. It is considered rude to put salt and pepper on your food before tasting it.

3. One should not begin to eat until the host or hostess is seated and/or begins eating.

4. It is not appropriate to blow on your food to cool it off.

5. Stretching your arm across the table to reach an item is okay if everyone else is mid-bite.

9. Домашнее задание.

Open your diaries and write down the home task for Friday. Look at the screen. Your hometask is to write a short article for an international school magazine explaining what someone should do to greet people, make small talk or visit people in your country. Ex.6 page 21
