Types of houses in Britain.

Тема: Types of houses in Britain.
Материал: учебник Forward, 6 класс, Английский язык, часть вторая, под
редакцией профессора М.В. Вербицкой, 2014 год. (Unit II Homes
and houses).
Оборудование: компьютер, учебники, карточки с заданиями и речевыми структурами, фильм Homes (из учебного сериала Window on Britain), экран.
Тип урока: Комбинированный.
Межпредметные связи: усвоению материала урока способствуют знания
учащихся по литературе, географии и истории.
Организация пространства: столы для групп из четырёх человек.
Планируемые результаты: Способность обучающихся осуществлять
коммуникативные действия по изучаемой теме.
Деятельностная цель: формирование способности обучающихся к новому
способу действия.
Образовательная цель: расширение понятийной базы за счёт включения в неё
новых элементов.
Воспитательная цель: воспитание целеустремлённости, воли.
Формирование УУД:
Личностные действия: нравственно-этическая ориентация.
Регулятивные действия: коррекция, оценка, саморегуляция.
Познавательные действия: общеучебные, постановка и решение проблемы.
Коммуникативные действия:
умение с достаточной точностью выражать свои мысли в соответствии с задачами и условиями коммуникации.
Этапы урока.
I.Организационный.
a) Приветствие.
- Good morning, students!
- Good morning, teacher!
- How are you?
- I’m fine, thank you, and you?
- I’m fine too, sit down, please.
b) Беседа вопросам (Teacher – st.1, st.2, st.3 ….).
What is the date today? What day of the week is it today? What season is it now? What is your favourite season and why? What are the spring (summer, autumn, winter) months? What is the weather like today? How many lessons do you have today? What lessons do you have today?
II. Постановка задач.
Teacher: What do yo think are our tasks at this lesson? – Students’ own opinions
(E.g. St.1- I think our task is to perfect our skills on Unit II Homes and houses).
Teacher: What about the aim of the lesson? - Students’ own opinions (E.g. St.2 – In my opinion, the aim of today’s lesson is to do some exercises and gain new skills in reading and speaking).
III. Актуализация.
Проверка домашнего задания
Teacher: To perform our tasks we should first check your home task.

a)Нахождение в тексте эквивалентов предложений на русском и английском
языках.
Teacher: Please, find first Russian and then English equavalents in the text.( For example,
Бунгало – это дом, который целиком располагается на уровне
первого этажа.
Student 3: A bungalow is a house that is all on ground level.
Teacher: A flat is a living area that takes only a part of a building.
Student 4: Квартира – это жилая ячейка, которая занимает только часть
здания).
III. Физминутка.
Teacher: And now let’s relax doing our physical exercises.
Hands on hips! Bend right! Stand still! Bend left! Stand still! Turn right! Stand still! Turn left! Stand still! Hands on shoulders! Whirl your arms forward! Stop! Whirl your arms backwards! Stop! Hands down!
Teacher: The next is our game “If …”
E.g. If you live far from our school, sit down! If you live in Zhukov street, sit down! If there are five armchairs in your flat, sit down …
IV. Совершенствование знаний.
a)Работа в группах.
Teaсher: Students, the next thing you are going to do is to check and teach each other using the information on the text “Types of houses in Britain” presented in the cards.
E.g.
1.What are most houses in England made of?
2.There are four basic types of housing in the UK, aren’t there?
3.Is a detached house a house which is joined to another house?
4.What form or style can a detached house take on?
b) Работа по фильму Homes.
- Teacher: Now it’s time to watch the film “Homes”. But before we start watching it, let’s do a short test. Try to choose the answers relying on your general knowledge of the subject.

Teacher: So, let’s discuss the results of your work.
E.g.
Teacher: What was your opinion on the first statement in the test before
watching the film?
St.5: I marked “true”.
Teacher: Did you change your opinion after watching the film.
St.5: Yes, I did. Now I know this film is about homes only.
V. Рефлексия.

Teacher: So, we are approaching to the final stage of our lesson.
I’d like you to share your opinions, using speech structures.

- Teacher: And now give your comments and assess your work at the lesson using speech structures from the card.

“4” – I tried as much as I could. Good (Fair).
“3” – I should learn English better. Satisfactory.
“2” – I should revise a lot and study much harder. Bad.

Teacher: E.g. Vera, you really did your best today. Your knowledge of the subject deserves “five”.
VI. Информация о домашнем задании, инструктаж.
Упр.8,с.25 (Подготовить в группах презентации о типах домов в России и
небольшое письменное сообщение о своём доме или квартире).
Teacher: Your home assignment for the next lesson is exercise 8 on page 25. Prepare in your groups presentations about the types of houses in Russia and each of you, write a short information (10-12 sentences) about your own flat or house. You may attach photos.
