Цели урока:

.

1. Образовательные:

•Активизировать и отрабатывать лексические единицы по теме «Лучший друг планеты – это вы»;

•Совершенствовать навыки устной речи, чтения, письма и аудирования;

•Обобщить грамматический материал по теме «Придаточные предложения условия».

2 . Развивающие:

•Развивать иноязычную коммуникативную компетенцию в совокупности ее составляющих: речевой, языковой, социо-культурной, компенсаторной, учебно-познавательной;

•Развивать коммуникативные умения в основных видах речевой деятельности: говорение, аудирование, чтение, письмо;

•Обучать умению ситуативно использовать изученную лексику, развивать навык аналитического чтения.

•Развивать способность осмысленного восприятия и рационального распределения внимания, логического изложения содержания высказывания, формулирования выводов из прочитанного и услышанного, развивать коммуникабельность , способность выражения своего отношения к окружающей среде и экологии, способности к самостоятельному труду и самооценке, аргументировать собственное мнение, развивать познавательную активность, презентовать полученные материалы.

3.Учебные:

• Развитие навыков и умений всех видов речевой деятельности:

•Чтение с извлечением полезной информации (, работа со стихотворением на уроке).

•Аудирование (прослушивание текста, стихотворения, проектов+видеосюжет).

•Говорение.

•Письмо (игра в командах- составление экологических правил ).

4.Воспитательные:

•Развивать способность формирования гражданской позиции и чувства ответственности за экологию и окружающую среду , воспитание чувства любви и бережного отношения к окружающей среде.

Задачи:

-активизация введенной лексики в речи по теме «Проблемы окружающей среды»;

-тренировка в употреблении условных придаточных предложений

Оснащение урока: компьютер, мультимедийный проектор, лозунги, плакаты и девиз урока, стихотворение для речевой разминки, видеофильм по проблемам экологии, раздаточный материал.

Тип урока: Урок обобщения и систематизации знаний.

1. Организационный момент (4 мин)

- Good morning boys and girls! Glad to see you! Sit down, please. Let’s begin our lesson and we‘ll begin it with a short film. Let’s watch and then we’ll continue our lesson.

So what is it about? Can you name the topic of our lesson.

P: The environmental problems.

T: You are right. Today we are going to talk about the environmental problems on our planet. And what can we do to improve the situation, the world. So, what does the word environment mean?

The word “environment” means simply what is around us: the air we breathe, the soil on which we stand and walk, the water we drink. These are all parts of the environment. Nowadays people understand how important it is to solve the environmental problems that endanger people's lives.

Let’s train our tongues and work at our pronunciation

2.1. Речевая разминка (5 мин).

Listen to the poem ex.23 p.46

If all the sea were one sea,

What a great sea that would be!

If all the trees were one tree,

What a great tree that would be!

And if all the axes were one axe,

What a great axe that would be!

And if all the men were one man,

What a great man that would be!

And if the great man took the great axe,

And cut down the great tree,

And let it fall into the great sea,

Let’s pronounce some words: axe, axes, splish-splash. Now read the rhyme with the speaker.

What period of time do the actions belong to?

Did the action really happen? The actions are unreal. There are used Conditional sentences .Find Conditional sentences.

2.2 So, let’s try to do some exercises. Take your places at the computers, on the desktop open the folder “My test”. Then find there the file “Conditionals”. Begin working.

3. Kонтроль домашнего задания – 10-12 мин.

Your home task was to speak about environmental problems in our region. You could make up a dialogue, a talk, a presentation or a film on the problem .So, let’s listen to you.

WHAT CAN WE DO TO IMPROVE THE WORLD?

We live in a wonderful world full of life, full of color, full of beauty, but in recent years our world has been devastated by hurricanes, earthquakes, floods and droughts. What does the future hold for the planet Earth? The place we all call HOME.

Climate change could destroy the world we live in. Scientists predict that within 50 years many parts of the world will be under 20 cm of water. We can prevent this, if we all work together.

There is still time for us to save our world: Solar panels, wind farms and underwater turbines are been used to produce renewable energy. These are sources that can be used again and again.

Although, there are still many things that we can do. The things that you and your family can do together: you can reduce the amount of wastes you produce, this can be done by being more resourceful by the things that you use and buy. You and your family can recycle many items at home. Just look at what you can reuse: jars, bottles, bags.

Do you know that 100 000 tones of carrier bags has been thrown away any single year. This is same weight as 70 000 cars. You and your family can stop do this by simply reusing your bags, rather than just throwing it away. Many items that you use can be recycled: cans, bottles, paper, even electrical goods, food.

It is important that we don’t just throw these items away. Your used can can easily become a part of your new car, and your used glass bottle can be used to become a new windows for your home.

So make sure that you use recycle bin every time. There are many simple things that you and your family can do around your home:

- plant a tree in your garden and watch it grow;

- make compost with your left over food and grow a new food;

- when the weather is nice hang your clothes out of dryer.

All this things can not only save the environment, they can also safe your family’s money. What we have right now is a chance to preserve our future. Tell your parents, grandparents, friends to do these small things that count. We must take it step by step and make sure that you have a future to grow up in. Person by person, family by family, community by community. Together WE CAN MAKE IT DIFFERENCE.

3.2 All right. You’ve worked rather well. Now let’s have a rest and do some exercises for our eyes/ Look at the screen and follow the exercise.(Blink your eyes)

3.3Составление экологических правил. (3–4 мин.)

Of course governments of different countries pay much attention to problems of environment but much depends on us. Let’s make the Code of Ecological Rules for everybody.

Let’s work in groups.

– Never drop litter in the street;

– Sort rubbish: use special containers for paper, tins, food, white glass, brown glass and green glass;

– Don’t spray chemicals!

– Use less paper.

– Save energy. Use less electricity and gas.

– Have showers, not baths. Showers use less water.

– Don't leave fire in the forest.

– Change our attitude to the nature;

4. Заключительный этап урока

At the end of our lesson, please answer my questions. What can we do to keep the Earth clean and healthy? What should be done to change the existing situation?

Summing up everything that have been said we must say: our nature and the Earth in general are very sensitive to the human’s activity.

People all over the world including us must be very careful with our unique planet and its nature to preserve it for our children and future generations.

Now what mark will you give for yourselves. And now let’s put marks to you. You’ve got some marks while working at the computers. What marks will you give to yourselves? Let’s put the average mark…
