Material for the lesson: УМК «English» Т. Аяпова, З. Абильдаева, Ж. Тутбаева, ноутбук, презентация «If I were a millionaire», карточки с предложениями на отработку грамматики.

Objectives: 1) to revise grammar First Conditional, Second Conditional

2) To improve skills and abilities of monologist and dialogical speech

3) To bring up interest for a subject

Procedure of the class

1. Org.moment

- Good morning, children. Sit down, please. I’m very glad to see you.

1. Warm-up

Who is on duty today?

• I am on duty today.

Children ask the questions to the duty pupils. They are…

(Talk with duty pupils.)

What date is it today?

What day of the week today?

What is the weather today?

How many pupils in the class?

How many girls in the class?

How many boys in the class?

How many lessons have you got today? (3мин)

Let’s divide in 2 groups. I have a box. There are many dollars and euros. Please take one banknote.

It’s very good. Those who have a dollar go to this table. And who have a euro go to that table.

1. Introduction (3 мин)

How do you think what is the theme of our lesson? (ответы детей)

That’s right. The theme of out lesson is “If I were a millionaire”.

Let’s we put down the aim of our lesson. I give you some words and you make up the sentences. And we put the aim of the lesson. You work in pairs.

At the blackboard - Today we will fix knowledge about phonetic, speaking, writing drills and learn new grammar material. (На доске.)

Let’s start our work.

1. Phonetic drill (2 мин)

You have lists with words on the tables. Look at the blackboard. Divide these words in three columns.

First column is the sound – [ei]

Second – [ : ]

Third – [ әе ]

[ei] [o:] [æ].

Name, clock, take, hat, table, happy, ball, cake, tall, cat, fall, call, Ann.

We do it orally. And so read the first word. (читают слова с доски и распределяют, в какую колонку их отнести)

1. Grammar rule. (7 мин)

-----Each groups have a list (which help you in learning new grammar rule)

English Grammar has 4 kinds of conditional.

They are:

• Zero Conditional

• First Conditional

• Second Conditional

• Third Conditional

Today we will learn The First Conditional and The Second Conditional

Explain new material.

Look at these lists and read new information about Conditionals. (Приложение 1, 2)

We use If sentences when we can say about things which can be happen in some situations.

If sentence consist of Depend Clause (придаточная часть) and Main Clause (главная часть) of the sentence.

Main part begin with IF (WHEN), Main part begins with a pronoun (I, You, We, They, He, She, It) or noun

CONDITIONAL 1

(THE FIRST CONDITIONAL)

Conditional 1 is real, because it is used for real - or possible – situations in the present or future.

Реальное условие,  относящееся к настоящему, будущему или  прошедшему  времени

If (when) V1 , / will + V1

If I win the contest, I will go to Great Britain.

or

will + V1 / if (when) V1

I will go to Great Britain if I win the contest.

CONDITIONAL 2

(THE SECOND CONDITIONAL)

V2, / WOULD + V1

Conditional 2 is often called the "unreal" conditional because it is used for unreal оr impossible situations in the future.

If (when) V1/V2+ WOULD

If I won the contest, I would go to Great Britain.

WOULD + if (when) V1 / V2

I would go to Great Britain if I won the contest.

You have 4 sentences on the cards. Fill in the words in sentences use Form of the First and Second Condition

Let’s have a rest. Please, stand up. Look at the screen and repeat after children.

The next task is making posters. You work in the group. Each group has pictures and words. You make up sentences on the theme “If I were a millionaire… Then you can go to the blackboard and protect you posters.

Let’s protect your project. (Группы защищают постеры) (3 мин)

And now you estimate the posters of other group. How you do it? You take the smile, which on you mind estimate they works and put it on the poster.
