Lesson 35. BIOGRAPHIES .Вдосконалення навичок усного мовлення, аудіювання та читання. Objectives: сприяти формуванню навичок вживання нових лексичних одиниць, удосконалення навичок читання, аудіювання та усного мовлення. Розвивати пізнавальні інтереси учнів. Виховувати зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань і позитивного ставлення до читання.
Outcomes:сформовані навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць, вдосконаленні навички читання, аудіювання та усного мовлення. Зацікавленість у розширенні своїх знань і позитивного ставлення до читання.
Обладнання: підручник, зошит, робочий зошит, словник, портрети відомих письменників та поетів, крилаті вирази та прислів'я про книги. Тип уроку: комбінований. Компетентності: спілкування іноземною мовою, громадянська відповідальність.

1. Greeting and aim 2. Warming up. Guess Who is it? 1.He is English. He was born in 1564. He was a dramatist, a poet and an actor. He died in 1616.
2.He was born in 1859. He was a writer of detective stories. The main character stories is Sherlock Holmes.
3. She was born in 1891. She wrote 75 detective stories . She died in 1976.

4.He was fond of Scottish folk songs and ballads. He is considered to the founder of the historical novel.

Read the text. Jack London. Jack London was born in 1876 in San Francisco, California. His family was very poor so Jack had to leave school to make money. In 1897 he went to Alaska to find gold. Instead he find ideas for his stories there. He is best known for his book, The Call of the Wild, the story of the adventures of a dog in the frozen north. His writings were very popular and he became rich and famous before the age 30.
