Title: Great playwrights
The main aim: Upbringing of a harmonious person oriented on respectfulness of the spiritual and cultural values.
Aims:
1.Upbringing: To upbring the interest to the world of fairy tales and spiritual values of the world of beauty.
2. Teaching: To teach using and formation of Past Simple, to teach pupils retelling the stories and analyzing
3. Practical: To practice writing, speaking, listening, vocabulary skills on the topic great playwrights
4. Developing: To develop pupils’ outlook, their communicative and cooperative skills, to encourage children to express their own point of view and their ideas.
Resources: a flipchart for cluster, one text, cards, pictures, video projector.

Good afternoon, my dears. I'm glad to see you. If you are ready, let's begin our lesson. So, the theme of our lesson is “Exotic America”
Today we'll speak about playwrights, read a text, do grammar exercises and play games.
Before beginning the lesson let’s write down some new words. Open your vocabulary copy-books, write down the date, theme of the lesson and these new words.
There is an exercise 3a. on p.80 You should answer the question. Open your exercise copy-books. Write down the date and the theme of the lesson. Then do this exercise.
Now who can tell me-
- Which English Exotic America do you know?
- What exotic places do you like?
Working on the text: And now let’s read and translate the text “Exotic America”. Look at the names of places.

Past Simple
The Past Simple is used to indicate an action which happened actions or situations in the past.
It is formed by

For example:
Yestrday I went to London to see a friend of mine
Look at the picture and give your own example using the Past Simple.

Working in pairs. And now please unite in three pairs and do the following task. There is broken pictures of main playwrights of some famous theatres in the envelope. You should collect them in order.

Working in groups. And now you will work in groups. There are some “Happy trains” on the blackboard. There are pictures of heroes of playwrights. One of you should come up to the blackboard and choose one of these trains and describe the hero which you have chosen to your group. And they should find it.

And now our last activity is crosswords. There are some words hidden in the crossword. You have already learned these words by heart. If you haven’t forgotten these words it will be easy for you to solve the crossword.

I think playwrights are very important in upbringing the children with good behavior. Because every playwrights has a happy end. Goodness wins over the badness. Thank you for this lesson.
