Пояснительная записка

Цель контрольной работы - определить уровень освоения учащимися 7-х классов предметного содержания курса английского языка и выявить элементы содержания, вызывающие наибольшие затруднения у учащихся.

Контрольная работа охватывает содержание Примерных программ основного общего образования по английскому языку. Содержание работы опирается на планируемые результаты освоения учебного материала для 7 класса.

Форма проведения: контрольная работа, состоящая из 4 разделов: аудирования, чтения, лексики/ грамматики и написания личного письма.

Продолжительность контрольной работы - 45 минут.

Система и критерии оценивания: За верное выполнение каждого задания с выбором ответа и с дополнением пропуска обучающийся получает 1 балл, а также за каждое правильно установленное соответствие в заданиях на установление соответствия позиций, представленных в двух множествах и за верное преобразование предложенной начальной формы слова в нужную грамматическую форму.

Если в кратком ответе сделана орфографическая ошибка, ответ считается неверным. За неверный ответ или отсутствие ответа выставляется 0 баллов.

Таким образом, максимальное количество баллов, которое можно набрать в данной работе – 41 и отдельно за личное письмо – 6 баллов.

Максимальное количество баллов – 47 баллов.

47 – 40 баллов (100 - 85%) - «5»

39 – 32 баллов (84 - 68%) - «4»

31 – 24 баллов (67 - 51%) - «3»

23 баллов и меньше (50% и менее) - «2»

A. Orange and black is a great match. We often associate them with Hallowe’en. Traditionally, orange is a symbol of energy and warmth. Orange, brown and gold remind us of autumn and the harvest. Black is a universal symbol of darkness and death. They are used a lot in Hallowe’en celebrations because once it was a festival that marked the line between life and death.

B. In our imagination Christmas always goes together with a nicely decorated Christmas tree. It is believed that the first person to decorate a Christmas tree was Martin Luther, the Protestant reformer. It happened in the 16th century. According to the legend, Martin Luther once saw the stars shining between the branches of a fir tree. He was so impressed by the beauty of the sight that he decided to show this wonderful image to his children. So he brought home a green tree and decorated it with candles.

C. They are popular in England and are held there every year. There are usually several participants and each of them receives a frying pan with a pancake. They have to run, throwing the pancake into the air. The aim is to reach the finishing line without dropping the pancake. It is not easy at all to catch a hot pancake with the frying pan. The winner is the first who crosses the finishing line.

D. People who take St Valentine’s Day seriously think about their gifts in advance — the usual Valentine’s Day gifts include flowers, chocolates, and teddy bears. Many years ago, Valentine’s cards and gifts were sent anonymously. Nowadays people usually write their names on their cards and gifts.

E. Nowadays, many English country towns and villages still celebrate May Day as was done in pre-Roman times. After the cold winter, people welcome the coming of warm and sunny summer. Traditionally, they dance around the maypole, perform the famous Morris dance and choose a May Queen. At the end of the village green party everyone enjoys a huge bonfire.

F. One of the most famous British holiday dishes is figgy pudding, also known as Christmas pudding. It is a bit richer than the usual pudding. Figgy pudding includes fruit, nuts, spices and black treacle. It is usually topped with liqueur. According to tradition, all members of the family take part in making the pudding. One by one they stir the pudding and make wishes. Sometimes the wishes come true.
