Lake Baikal – a Miracle of Nature
Lake Baikal is one of the most famous and beautiful lakes in the world and it’s one of Russia’s greatest landmark s.
The water is crystal clear and when you see shimmering stones on the bottom of the breathtaking beauty lake it’s hard to believe they’re so deep down .
The tranquility of the lake can easily become a tempest as the lake changes its mood quickly: the wind rises and huge waves begin to roll across the surface.
Lake Baikal is surrounded by some magnificent mountain ranges .
Lake Baikal is the only breeding ground for the Baikal Seal and the Omul fish, on which the seals feed.
In 1996 Lake Baikal was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
We ought to do all we can to protect this fragile environment and save it for further generations.
Think Green! To save Baikal!
Think Green! Do all you can!
Think Green!
For all our children!
Think Green!
For the race of man!
