You are going to give a talk about films. You will have to start in 1.5 minutes and speak for not more than 2 minutes (10–12 sentences). Remember to say:

·         what kinds of films modern teenagers enjoy;

·         where you prefer watching films: on TV, on the Internet or in the cinema, and why;

·         what film you have seen recently, what  it was about;

·         what your attitude to watching films as a way to spend your free time is.

You have to talk continuously.

Now I want to give you a talk about films. Modern teenagers enjoy different kinds of films. We like fantasy films and science-fiction, and find them really exciting, we also watch series about teenagers and detective stories - they are interesting and relaxing. To tell the truth, some of us consider soap operas and sitcoms silly and predictable. A lot of teens watch documentaries and wildlife programs as the are educational and thought-provoking. We have different opportunities to watch any film we like. The internet helps us with it and we can download or watch any film online. I find it very comfortable.

I like watching new films at the cinema. I go there with my friends or family. But more often I watch films at home on TV or on the internet. It is more convenient because I can do it any time I want, lying on the sofa with tasty food and my cat near me.

Recently I’ve seen a film from the Harry Potter series, it is called “Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows”. It is a fantasy. This film is about the war between wizards. I find this chapter serious, cold and sometimes sad. The winner of this war is Harry Potter, of course, I am proud of him.

As for me, I suppose, that watching films is a very nice way of spending my free time. I like interesting fast-moving plots. I’m sure that some films are not only entertaining but thought-provoking and educational. And if you can watch films in English you can also improve you listening skills.
