Step 1 Colour. Then circle. (activity 12)

Refer the pupils to the pictures and explain the task. The pupils colour the dotted sections of the pictures and then circle the names of the clothing items pictured. Check their answers.

Step 2 Choose a season. What’s the weather like? Draw and colour. Present it to the class. (activity 13)

Explain the activity. Allow the pupils some time to choose a season and draw corresponding things in the picture. Then they colour it and present it to the class.

Step 3 Let’s play CLOTHES BINGO! (activity 14)

Refer the pupils to the pictures and explain the game. Tell the pupils to choose and circle six items in the grid. Then call out six items in random order. If a pupil hears an item that he/she has circled, he/she ticks the box. The pupil that ticks all of his/her circled items first says “Bingo” and is the winner.

Step 4 Project Time

Refer the pupils to the project and the drawing. Ask the pupils to tell you what they can see. Explain that they will draw a weather condition and what they are wearing, using the text in the book as an example. Alternatively, the pupils can attach pictures. Assign the project as homework. During the next lesson have the pupils present their projects. Make sure you display their work somewhere in the classroom. Then help them file their drawings in their Language Portfolios.
