  • Draw learners’ attention to the lesson objectives and make sure they all understand them.


Checking the home task. Discuss the mistakes and make sure that they correct them.

Unit Summative feedback: Hand out the students’ papers and give them 2 minutes to look through their answers. Show Slide 3 and discuss the answers on the reading part together as a whole class.

  • Learners ask and answer in pairs. Ex 4 p 97 Monitor the activity around the class and then ask some pairs to ask and answer in front of the class.

Listening

  • Before listening learners look at the pictures and write the words in the boxes under the pictures.

  • Listen and complete the gaps with a word from the box.

  • Listen for specific information. Explain the task. Learners listen and circle the best answer for the questions.


  • Ask learners to swap their copybooks. Teacher displays the correct answers on the board. Learners correct the mistakes then give the copybooks back.
