• Londoners have all sorts of occupations. Some of them have very unusual professions.

shoeblacks

• They usually clean people’s
• shoes at the big stations.
• Most of their customers are

pavement artists

• They draw pictures in coloured chalks near Trafalgar Square or the Tower of London for the people who pass by. They hopes that they will drop a penny into his hat.

roadstars

If, in the evening, you are queuing outside a cinema or a theatre, or to the supermarket, or perhaps just going tor a walk, you will probably see some of Londoner’s famous Roadstars.

BUSKERS.

Sometimes, the buskers are students who play guitars, or old men and women who play flutes and violins. But the most famous buskers of all are the Roadstars – who dance.

• People come from all over the world to go shopping in London.

• Most of people live in flats. When a person lives in one room, it is called “bedsitter”(a bed-sitting room): the bedroom, sitting room and kitchen are all in one.

TRAIT HOUSES

• Most of Londoners live in trait houses. All this houses have gardens. And people who live there always have flowers. Londoners really love flowers.
