Тема урока: Мир профессий.
Тип урока: комбинированный.
Цели:
Образовательные:
• развитие навыка аудирования: восприятия и понимания иноязычной речи на слух;
• формирование навыков говорения, письма и чтения;
• введение и актуализация первичных грамматических навыков по теме.
Развивающие:
• развитие умения высказывать и аргументировать свою точку зрения;
• развитие способности анализировать, сравнивать и систематизировать предлагаемый материал;
• развитие памяти, внимания, воображения;
• формирование самостоятельной познавательной деятельности;
• развитие умения осуществления рефлексивной деятельности.
Воспитательные:
• воспитание коммуникативных способностей личности;
• уважения точки зрения собеседника с одной стороны и умения отстаивать свою точку зрения с другой;
• воспитание уважения к культуре и традициям иноязычной страны.
Для проведения урока были выбраны следующие методы:
• методы организации и осуществления учебно-познавательной деятельности учащихся, а именно:
а) методы словесной передачи информации и слухового восприятия информации;
б) методы наглядной передачи информации и зрительного восприятия информации;
в) методы передачи информации с помощью практической деятельности;
• методы стимулирования и мотивации учащихся:
а) эмоциональные (поощрения);
б) познавательные (создание проблемной ситуации и побуждение к поиску решений);
в) социальные (создание ситуации взаимопомощи);
• методы контроля и самоконтроля:
а) устные (индивидуальный и фронтальный опрос).
Применяемые технологии: игровая, групповая, информационная.
Формы организации работы на уроке: индивидуальные, фронтальные и групповые.
Ход урока
I. Организационная часть
1 этап: Приветствие, постановка задач, объяснение темы:
-Good morning, students! How are you? I am glad to see you! You may sit down.
Лексическая зарядка:
Answer my questions:
-What date is it today?
-What day of the week is it today?
-Who is absent today?
-What`s the weather like today?
-Do you like this weather?
-What weather do you like?
-What the season is it today?
-What is your favorite season?
-Where do you study?
-What is your favorite subject?..
Грамматическая зарядка:
-Look at the blackboard and compose the sentences putting the forms of the verb “to be”.

-So, the topic of our lesson today is “World of professions”. We speak about different kinds of jobs, works, professional skills and abilities. Let`s repeat after me:
I Want to Be
Some people often say to mе:
"Have you decided what you want to bе?"
I usually answer, "I don't know,"
But it isn't really so.
I want to win аn Olympic race,
I want to see the Earth from space,
I want to travel to Katmandu
I want to bе rich and famous, too.

I want to bе very clever and wise,
I want to win the Nobel prize,
But most of all, I want to bе
Healthy and strong, and nice.
II. Основное содержание урока.
2 этап: Введение новых лексических единиц, увеличение объёма используемых лексических единиц:
-One of your home tasks was translating the names of professions. I give you Russian word and you give me English equivalent:
-портной по пошиву лёгкой одежды- a dressmaker
-аптекарь- a chemist
-водопроводчик- a plumber
-продавец- a salesmen
-машинист- an engine driver
-женский парикмахер- a hairdresser
-медсестра- a nurse
-архитектор- an architect
-Now, let`s play the game “Snowball”.
Словообразование:
-You see that most of the words have similar forms.
-er: driver, plumber, carpenter, lawyer.
-or: decorator, doctor, tailor.
-Tell me, please, what professions your parents have? What do you want to be?
Групповая работа:
-To be a good specialist you should have some traits of character and professional skills and abilities. There are some of them. The first group tries to divide these traits into positive and negative. Another group gives the explanations of some of them.
Polite, elegant, generous, ambitious, serious, easygoing, unpleasant, sociable, clever, creative, forgetful, careless, funny, adventurous, friendly, reliable, practical, shy, enthusiastic, talkative.

3 этап: Закрепление новых лексических единиц в речи:
-Let`s talk about your future career
-To get a good profession you should get a good education. Now you are studying at our college. Read the text about college life and do the task. You should match the topic with each paragraph.
College
All high school children face the problem of choosing their future profession. Before graduating from school they decide which college to enter. Students in our group have chosen to connect their future profession with electrotechnics.
At college students start studying a number of new subjects, which are more sophisticated that those at school. They should get accustomed to the new timetable and new rules. Very often the work load at colleges and universities is difficult to cope with. First year is the most challenging. However, once they catch up with the program, things get easier.
Besides, college life is worth experiencing. It’s a whole new world, where students learn new social and professional skills. Apart from daily studying, they meet lots of new people, find like-minded people, and establish lifelong relationships.
Students also get to participate in different events and parties. One of the most important things, while studying at college, is to establish good relations with teachers and group mates. At first, it may seem that there are no common interests, no topics to discuss, but after certain time of studying together, students become good friends.

III. Заключительная часть
4 этап: Объяснение домашнего задания:
- Сделать проект на тему: “My profession in 100 years”. В нем ответить на вопрос - What kind of specialists will it require? Find interesting pictures proving your point of view. You may draw yourself how specialist will look like in future century.
5 этап: Рефлексия:
-Thank you for your work. You are good students. You helped me during our lesson. You were attentive and diligent. Your marks are… What information was new/interesting for you?
