Тема: «Pets and other animals»

Цель: повторить и закрепить изученный материал.

Задачи:

Развивающие: развивать у   учащихся способность к правильному выбору и сочетанию лексических единиц, способность к догадке, умению вести беседу.

Учебные:       формировать      лексические  и    грамматические навыки, совершенствовать произносительные навыки, навыки чтения и аудирования.

Воспитательные: воспитывать положительное отношение к животным.

Тип урока: урок систематизации и обобщения знаний.

Оборудование: картинки с изображением животных, карточки-задания, магнитофон, аудиозаписи, доска, интерактивная доска, учебник.

Формы: фронтальная, индивидуальная, коллективная, парная.

Методы обучения: словесный, наглядно-иллюстративный, исследовательский.

Зрительный ряд: картинки с изображением животных, опорные схемы.

Музыкальный ряд: песни «How are you?», «Take your little hands».

Литературный ряд: стихотворения о животных.

Ход урока

I.     Начало урока, введение учащихся в атмосферу иноязычного общения.

1. Приветствие и сообщение целей урока.

 Teacher: The bell has gone, children. Let's begin our lesson. Good morning, boys and girls! How are you?

-   Fine, thank you. And you?

-   I'm all right. Sit down, please. Listen to the song. What is this song about? Can you name the topic of our lesson?

At the lesson today we'll play, read, recite poems and talk about animals and pets.

Pupil: Animals

2. Фонетическая зарядка.

Teacher: Let's sing a song "How are you? "

Teacher: Repeat after me:

П.      Развитие навыка аудирования.

Teacher: Listen to the text and say YES or NO. Be attentive, (на доске записаны незнакомые слова - collie, London, red) You see unknown words on the board, read them after me.Listen to the text once more.

Hello, friends. My name is Ted. I am from London. I am nine. I have got two pets. They are a dog, Rex and a cat, Kitty.

Rex is five. He is a big collie dog. He is red and white. His nose is black. Rex likes to play with a ball.

Kitty is two. The cat has got two kittens. They like milk and like to play with a toy mouse.

1. Ted is from London.

2. Ted likes his pets.

3. Ted is seven.

4. His pets are a dog and a cat.

5. Rex is grey and Kitty is red and white.

6. Kitty has got one kitten.

7. Rex likes to play with a doll.

III.   Повторение изученного материала.

a) Teacher: Do you know animals? Let's play the game "Wild and domestic animals" I'll throw a ball. When you catch it you must name a wild or domestic animals. As quickly as you can.

b) Teacher: Try to guess what animals this is and write them.

c) Teacher: Children, read and find the odd animal, (лишнее животное)

-   A monkey, a hare, a fox, a cow.

-   A crocodile, a duck, a frog, a bear, a fish.

d) Teacher: Find 10 animals. Работа с кроссвордом.

e) Teacher: Listen to me and guess these riddles.

- It gives us a milk. It says "moo-moo." (a cow)

- It's very big and grey, (an elephant)

- I'm white. I don't like foxes, (a hare)

- I'm little. I'm green. I can jump and swim. What am I? (a frog)

- I'm brown. I can jump, ran, climb. I cannot fly. I like bananas, (a monkey)

- I'm red. I live in the forest. I can run, jump. I like hares, (a fox)

IV.    Физкультминутка.

Teacher: I see that you know the names of animals. Are you tired? Stand up and let's do our exercises.

Выполняют движения под музыку.

V.    Повторение грамматического материала. (BE, HAVE)

Teacher: 1 have got a letter from Matroskin.I can't read it. Шарик пролил молоко.

Работают в парах. Заполняют пропуски и читают письмо.

VI.    Развитие навыка чтения

Teacher: Read the sentences and choose the right, (читают и выбирают

предложения, которые соответствуют картинке).

Bob hasn't got a pet. Bob has got a pet.

His pet is a kitten.

His pet is a dog. The kitten is red and black. The kitten is red and white.

His pet is clever.

His pet isn't clever.

 Masha hasn't got a pet. Masha has got a pet.

Her pet is a kitten.

Her pet is a puppy. The puppy is brown and white. The puppy is brown and grey.

 Her pet is clever.  

 Her pet is not clever.

VII.   Развитие навыка диалогической речи.

Teacher: read the dialogue and act out in pairs. Читают хором, 2 пары. Составляют свой диалог и инсценируют.

-   Hello, Kate. Have you got a pet?

-   Yes, I have a pet. It's a cat.

-   What colour is your cat, Kate?

-   It's grey and white.

-   Is it a big cat?

- No, it isn't. My cat is small.

- What's its name?

- Pussy.

VIII.   Развитие навыка монологической речи.

Teacher: Your hometask was to make up a story about your pets. Who wants to tell a story?

Монологи учащихся.

Teacher: Do you know poems about animals? Who wants to recite? Читают стихи.

IX. Итог урока, домашнее задание, объявление и аргументирование оценок.

Teacher: It's very good that you have pets at home. You love animals. But you must remember, that animals and birds are our friends. Feed animals, take care of nature.

Hometask: Complete the crosswords and make up two riddles about animals.
